Elliott (lower-body) will miss at least two weeks.

Elliott is listed as week-to-week but now we know he will miss at least 14 days which means he will likely miss at least the next seven games. Jake Allen is expected to get the bulk of if not all of the starts while Elliott is out. Martin Brodeur started practicing with the Blues today and could be signed to back-up Allen.

McDonagh (shoulder) will return to the Rangers lineup on Friday afternoon.

McDonagh has been out since November 1st with a separated shoulder, but will be back in tonight paired with Dan Girardi. This is a huge boost for the Rangers blue line. He had three assists in 10 games before getting injured. He is available in 22% of Yahoo leagues and makes for a great add.

Elliott is out week-to-week with what is believed to be a sprained knee.

Blues’ head coach Ken Hitchcock said that this is an injury than Elliott has had before and has recovered quickly from, but for now he is labeled as week-to-week. This puts the ball fully in Jake Allen’s court. At some point you had to figure one of them was going to go down and now Allen becomes a full-fledged NHL starter. If he is available in your league, scoop him up immediately.

Elliott (lower-body) left Tuesday’s game and did not return.

Elliott had to leave the game after he appeared to get his right leg twisted underneath him in the second period. Elliott left with a 2-0 lead and the Blues would go on to lose 3-2 in a shootout. Jake Allen gets a huge fantasy boost while Elliott is sidelined. Expect an update on Elliott on Wednesday.

Elliott starts Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Elliott made 24 saves on 26 shots in the Blues’ 3-2 win over the Senators on Saturday afternoon. Tonight, he will get another crack at Ottawa, who are on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Given he just beat them and the fact that he has a 1.90 GAA and .927 SV% on the year, he is a must-start tonight.

Elliott is expected to get the start vs. Ottawa this afternoon.

Jake Allen lost in the Blues last game and Elliott has been their number-1all season; plus the Senators are his former team. Elliott stopped 15 of 17 shots in a 2-0 loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. Despite the Blues outshooting the B’s badly, Tuukka Rask stood on his head at the other end. He has a 1.89 GAA and .928 SV% through 12 starts, so he can be trusted this afternoon.

Elliott will start between the pipes for the Blues on Tuesday.

Elliott tuned aside 33 of 35 shots that the Predators threw at him in Saturday’s 2-1 loss. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Elliott, who will make his 10th start of the year on Tuesday. He sits at 5-3-1 on the year and should have no problem making it 6-3-1 with the last place Sabres visiting town.

Elliott will be in the cage on Saturday.

Elliott surrendered three goals on 39 shots in a win over the Rangers on Monday. He was given the last two games off with Jake Allen playing well, but he is back tonight, riding a four-game personal winning streak. Elliott has a 2.06 GAA and .920 SV% through eight starts and makes for a good fantasy start when he gets the nod.

Elliott gets the start on Monday vs. the Rangers.

Elliott stopped 27 of 29 shots in the Blues shootout win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Elliott has won three in a row with a 2.26 GAA and .914 SV%. He finished October with a 4-2-1 record and a GAA under 2.00 (1.96). We gave you his ridiculous numbers over three years with St. Louis in the preseason, so this should not surprise you. Start him vs. the Rangers.
