Zemgus Girgensons will return to the Sabres' lineup Tuesday vs. Montreal (undisclosed).

Girgensons missed the Sabres' previous game due to an undisclosed injury but will return to the lineup Tuesday in place of Peyton Krebs (healthy scratch). The 28-year-old left winger has three goals and five points through 17 games this season while averaging a career-low 11:45 TOI.

Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off of the ice at the Lightning morning skate.

Vasilevskiy finds himself on a three-game winning streak after defeating Nashville his last time out on the back of a 30 save on 32 shot (.938 SV%) performance. The NHL leader in wins the last five seasons has struggled so far in 2022-23, posting a 7-5-1 record with a .909 SV% and 2.84 GAA. He draws the tough task of taking on the league-leading Boston Bruins who carry a 16-2-0 record into the game Monday and find themselves on a six-game winning streak.

Vasilevskiy will start Thursday vs. the Flames.

Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 19 of 22 shots (.864 SV%) in a win over Washington his last time out. He has been having a very down year compared to his usual all-star standards, posting a 5-5-1 record and glaringly low .898 SV% to go along with his 3.10 GAA. He takes on the Calgary Flames who won 6-5 over Los Angeles in their last game to extend their win streak to two games.

Elliott will start Tuesday vs. the Stars.

Elliot stopped 21 of 24 shots (.875 SV%) his last time out a week ago (Nov.5) against Buffalo picking up the 5-3 win in his fourth start of the season. The Lightning's backup carries a 3-1-0 record but has fought the puck this season with his 3.26 GAA and .895 SV%. He will take on the Dallas Stars' Tuesday who last won 5-1 over Philadelphia in their previous game.

Vasilevskiy amazingly stopped 52 shots and still took the loss as Tampa dropped his previous start 4-3 vs. Carolina. He has not been his usual dominant self early on this year, posting a 4-3-1 record, with his .911 SV% and 2.87 GAA. He faces off against Edmonton Tuesday who is on the second half of a back-to-back after dropping their third straight contest Monday in a 5-4 loss to Washington.

He has not been his usual dominant self early on this year, posting a 4-3-1 record, with his .911 SV% and 2.87 GAA. He faces off against Edmonton Tuesday who is on the second half of a back-to-back after dropping their third straight contest Monday in a 5-4 loss to Washington.

Vasielvskiy stopped only 12 of 15 shots (.800%) in an odd 4-3 victory over Ottawa his last time out. After leading the NHL in wins the last five seasons, he has a 4-3-0 record along with a .902 SV% and 2.88 GAA. He should face a lot of rubber as he takes on Carolina Thursday who is 5th in the NHL in shots (36.2) and coming off a shootout win their last time out.
