Morgan Rielly is set to return to the Maple Leafs' lineup Thursday vs. Arizona (knee).

Rielly has not played since Nov. 21st due to a knee injury but is expected to return to the Maple Leafs' lineup Thursday as they take on Arizona. Reilly was playing incredibly before his injury, with 16 assists, 34 SOG and a -1 plus/minus in 20 games played.

Chris Tanev has been activated off the injured reserve and will likely return to action vs. San Jose (upper body).

Tanev has missed the Flames' last four games after taking a shot to the head just over a week ago and will be activated from the injured reserve Tuesday. The stay-at-home defenseman has five assists, 22 SOG and four PIMs through 24 games played.

Stolarz will start Thursday in Dallas.

Stolarz allowed five goals on 33 shots (.848 SV%) in his last start a week ago in a loss to Ottawa. The Ducks' backup has struggled in limited action this season as shown by his 2-3-0 record, 3.75 GAA and 890 SV%. He takes on the Dallas Stars who are first in the Central Divison and won their last game 4-1 over St. Louis.

Stolarz led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Stolarz stopped 4 of 5 shots (.800 SV%) in a relief performance his last time out taking the no-decision vs. St. Louis. The Ducks' backup has struggled mightily this season, posting a 2-2-0 record along with a high 4.29 GAA and .894 SV%. He takes on the Ottawa Senators who have lost their last three games.

Matias Maccelli will be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. Carolina.

Maccelli heading to the press box Wednesday comes as a bit of a surprise as the rookie had been enjoying a strong season, leading all rookie skaters with 11 points (1G/10A) through 17 games played. He will be replaced by Dylan Guenther and Zack Kassian returning to the lineup.
