Boyd will replace Lars Eller, who left the bubble to be with his wife for the birth of their second child and is expected to centre the third line. Boyd had three goals and seven assists (10 points) in 24 regular-season games.

Muzzin had to be stretched off of the ice late in Tuesday's Game 2 win. Muzzin was brought to hospital immediately but returned to the NHL bubble on Wednesday and will have to quarantine. He has been ruled out of the rest of Qualifying Round but could play in the playoffs if the Maple Leafs advance.

Muzzin had to be stretchered off of the ice late in the Maple Leafs' 3-0 win over the Blue Jackets in Game 2 and was immediately taken to hospital. This situation gets even more murky with Muzzin having to leave the NHL bobble. Chris Johnston of SportsNet reported that "medical officials will make the call on how long he'd have to quarantine if and when he's ready to return. It will depend on where he goes, how long he's gone and how much risk he's exposed to."

Domi sat out the first week of Phase 3 while deciding whether or not he will play in the Qualifying Round. Domi is at an increased risk as a Type-1 diabetic, so he took extra time to make his decision on the NHL's Return to Play program. During his first practice with the team, Domi took part in some drills and was featured on the second power-play unit.

The Coyotes selected Maccelli in the fourth-round of the 2019 draft. The 19-year-old winger finished his first season in the Finnish Elite League with 13 goals and 17 assists (30 points) in 43 games with Ilves Tampere. While representing Finland in the World Juniors, Maccelli had two goals and three assists (five points) in seven games.

After being acquired from t he Hurricanes as a part of the Erik Haula trade, Roy split the 2020 campaign between the NHL and AHL. With the Golden Knights, he had 10 points (5G / 5A) in 28 games while scoring seven goals with 15 assists (22 points) in 27 games. Signing a two-year contract means he's signed through 2022 and will still be an RFA at the end of the deal.


This announcement comes a few hours after the Flyers labelled Myers as a game-time decision for tonight's game, which obviously isn't the case anymore. Myers should be ready for the start of the playoffs but will be replaced by Shayne Gostisbehere tonight.

Rielly will play for the first time since January 12th and will be back on the top-pair with Cody Ceci and the second power-play unit. Rielly returns with 27 points (3G / 24A) in 46 games this season.

Myers was back on the ice for Tuesday's optional morning skate after leaving Monday's practice while dealing with the aftereffects of blocking a shot on Saturday. Myers is considered a game-time decision and will be replaced by Shayne Gostisbehere if he can't play.

Dahlstrom has been sidelined since mid-January but will return as the Jets' No.7 defenseman on Monday. Dahlstrom has been a fringe player all season, posting just one assist in 15 games.

Carlo will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury, leaving the Bruins without two of their top-4 defensemen with Torey Krug also out. Carlo is day-to-day heading into the Bruins Friday/Saturday back-to-back.

Carlo took an elbow to the head from Evgeni Dadonov on Thursday and did not return to the game. Carlo is likely in concussion protocol and will not be available for Saturday's game vs. Tampa Bay. John Moore will draw into the Bruins lineup and skate with Torey Krug.

Rielly has been out since January 12th with a fractured foot but is expected to be back in the lineup next week. The Maple Leafs have gone 11-7-2 in 20 games since Rielly got hurt.
