The Flyers have sent Anthony Stolarz to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

While Michal Neuvirth was sidelined, Stolarz made the most of his opportunities, even though they were few and far between. The 22-year-old went 2-0-0 with a 1.79 GAA and .938 SV% with the Flyers and returns to the Phantoms, where he has gone 6-2-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .927 SV%. The Flyers appear to have a good one in the 6-foot-6 American netminder.

Domi is week-to-week with an upper-body injury; has been placed on IR.

Domi was hurt in Thursday’s game vs. the Flames and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with an upper-body injury. With Domi on IR, the Coyotes will have an even more difficult time finding offence. They have recalled Laurent Dauphin to take his spot on the roster.

Ekman-Larsson (upper-body) is questionable for Thursday.

Ekman-Larsson left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury, but head coach Dave Tippett said that he doesn’t think his injury is serious and they will know more on Thursday. For his status for tomorrow’s game vs. Los Angeles monitor OEL’s status during the morning skate, but be thankful the injury doesn’t appear to be significant.

The Flyers have recalled Scott Laughton from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

The Flyers lost Sean Couturier to an MCL sprain, so Laughton has been called-up and will be in the lineup on Wednesday. Laughton has not appeared in any games with the Flyers this season, but has scored two goals with six assists (eight points) in eight games with Lehigh Valley. Laughton has collected 27 points (9G / 18A) in 107 career NHL games.

The Flyers have recalled Anthony Stolarz from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Stolarz has been recalled because Michal Neuvirth is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. The 22-year-old netminder has gone 6-2-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .927 SV% in eight games with the Phantoms this season. He has been called-up before, but has never made his NHL debut. Expect it happen this time around, especially considering how Steve Mason has struggled.

Tanev (lower-body) will not play on Thursday.

After missing three games with a lower-body injury, Tanev returned to the lineup last night, only to get hurt again. There has been no indication whether or not Tanev re-injured himself or if he suffered a new lower-body ailment. Either way, his injury means that Nikita Tryamkin will make his season debut.

Tanev (lower-body) is not expected to play on Tuesday.

Tanev was tangled up with Anze Kopitar on Saturday and absorbed a big hit from Nick Ritchie on Sunday, so he was too banged up to participate in the morning skate and won’t play on Tuesday. With Tanev out, Troy Stretcher was recalled from Utica (AHL) and he is expected to make his NHL debut.

The Flyers have placed Scott Laughton (knee) on long-term injured reserve.

Laughton is recovering from a sprained knee that he suffered in training camp. With Laughton expected to miss at least 10 games, his move to LTIR helps the Flyers with some cap relief and a roster spot. Start monitoring Laughton’s status in about three weeks when he will be eligible to be removed from LTIR.

The Predators signed Calle Jarnkrok to a six-year contract extension worth $12 million ($2.0M AAV).

Jarnkrok, 24, appeared in 74 games with the Predators in 2015-16, scoring 16 goals with 14 assists (30 points). The young Swede has 57 points (25G / 32A) in 167 career NHL games and will likely start the 2016-17 season on the third line, but could work his way into the Predators’ top-6 as the season progresses.
