Toronto Maple Leafs News

The Maple Leafs have signed Morgan Rielly to a six-year extension worth $30 million ($5.0M AAV).

Rielly appeared in all 82 games this season, picking up nine goals and 27 assists (36 points). In his first three NHL seasons, Rielly has collected 19 goals and 73 assists (92 points) and a minus-46 rating in 236 career games. Rielly will be the backbone of the Maple Leafs' blueline for years to come.

Ekman-Larsson (upper-body) will return to the Coyotes lineup on Tuesday.

Ekman-Larsson has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury, but will return tonight vs. the Oilers. Ekman-Larsson has 19 goals and 30 assists (49 points) in 66 games this season and should immediately be activated on all fantasy formats. His two goals and three assists in three games vs. Edmonton this season also suggest that he is worth the price in daily leagues as well.

Nylander, 19, has skated in 37 regular season games with the Marlies this season and ranks tied for ninth in league scoring with 45 points (18G / 27A). The 19-year-old was one of three Marlies players selected to skate in the 2016 AHL All-Star Game. Nylander was drafted by Toronto in the 1st round (8th overall) during the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
