Blueger missed Tuesday's game vs. the Bruins and is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time with an upper-body injury. Evgeni Malkin was knocked out of that game on Tuesday, which could put a real strain on the Penguins' centre depth on Thursday.

DeBrusk will come out of the lineup on Saturday due to COVID-19 protocols. Tough timing for DeBrusk, who was scratched on Tuesday but had a great game in his return to the lineup on Thursday.

DeBrusk was a healthy scratch on Tuesday but will be back on the second lineup vs. the Rangers. The Bruins are hoping the reset will get the winger going after he's scored just one goal with four assists in 17 games.

The Canucks have been quiet on Pettersson's injury but head coach Travis Green said he expects the star centre to miss at least another week with an upper-body injury. Expect another update on his status early next week.

DeBrusk has struggled this season, scoring just one goal in 17 games. Head coach Bruce Cassidy said that they're not getting the effort they need out of DeBrusk, so Jack Studnicka will move up to the second line to replace him vs. the Islanders.

Pettersson will miss his third straight game with an upper-body injury, leaving JT Miller to play centre on the second line. Pettersson remains day-to-day.

Sherwood has been in the lineup for the last two games but will be replaced by Matt Calvert on Monday. Sherwood has two assists while playing 8:48 ATOI in six games this season.
