With Luke Schenn landing in COVID-19 protocol, the Canucks were going to be short a defenseman on Thursday. Brisebois will likely make his season debut and play in his 10th career NHL game. The 24-year-old has one assist in six AHL games this season.
Hronek is dealing with some bumps and bruises and was questionable after missing Wednesday's practice. Head coach Jeff Blashill expects Hronek to play and he comes in with 12 points (2G / 10A) in 24 games.
DeBrusk was a healthy scratch on Saturday but will return to the lineup on Tuesday with Brad Marchand suspended. DeBrusk recently requested a trade so any game in the lineup right now could be his last in a Bruins uniform. DeBrusk has scored three goals with three assists (six points) in 17 games this season.
Hronek was missing from Monday's practice and is questionable to play Tuesday vs. the Bruins. If Hronek can't play, look for Daniel Renouf to re-enter the lineup and Gustav Lindstrom to play on PP2.
