MacEachern will replace Ivan Barbashev, who left the bubble to be with his wife for the birth of their child. The 26-year-old had seven goals and three assists (10 points) in 51 regular-season games.

After splitting the 2018-19 campaign between the NHL and AHL, MacEachern spent the entire 2019-20 season (until it was paused) with the Blues, scoring seven goals with three assists (10 points) in 50 games. The 26-year-old, former third-round pick now has 10 goals and five assists (15 points) in 79 career NHL games and will now be a fixture in St. Louis' bottom-6 for at least the next few seasons.

O'Connor was an undrafted free agent out of Dartmouth College. The 6-foot-3, 190 lbs. forward led the school in both goals (21) and points (33) in 31 games this season.

Lakinen was an undrafted free agent netminder out of Finland that joined the Blackhawks organization in 2019. During the 2020 campaign, the 24-year-old went 8-10-2 with a 3.03 GAA and .909 SV% in 21 AHL games.

Chytil left Tuesday's game in Dallas after playing 5:32 TOI and did not return. With Steven Fogarty being recalled from the AHL this morning, it suggests that he will replace Chytil tonight in Colorado.

He’s got a nice matchup vs. an Arizona team that is 1-9-1 while scoring just 1.55 goals per game in their last 11 road games.
