Coghlan spent most of the 2025-26 season in the AHL, recording 44 points (14G / 30A) in 62 games with the Henderson Silver Knights. That said, he was called up late in the season and had a lasting impact in the postseason, earning himself a two-year contract extension.

Vegas has signed Victor Olofsson to a one-year, $1.638 AAV contract.

The Golden Knights will try to supplement some of the offence they lost by trading Pavel Dorofeyev to the New York Rangers and signing Victor Olofsson to a one-year deal. The 30-year-old Swedish forward scored 31 points (13G / 18A) last season in 78 games between the Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames.

Vegas has signed Tanner Laczynski to a three-year contract worth $900,000 AAV ($2.7M total).

Laczynski has never made his presence felt at the NHL level, but he has provided solid organizational depth for the Vegas Golden Knights over the past two seasons, earning him a three-year contract extension. The 29-year-old scored 64 points (22G / 42A) last season in 62 games with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Vegas has re-signed Rasmus Andersson to a seven-year, $8.5 million AAV contract extension ($59.5M total).

It was widely assumed that Andersson would sign a lengthy extension with the Vegas Golden Knights after they acquired him in a trade last season, which came to fruition on the first day of free agency, with a seven-year extension worth $59.5 million ($8.5M AAV). The veteran 29-year-old Swedish defenseman was solid in a brief run with the Golden Knights, averaging 21:42 time-on-ice and scoring 17 points (7G / 10A) in 33 games.

The Golden Knights have signed Jonas Rondbjerg to a one-year, two-way contract.

Rondbjerg was a third-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, but he has yet to make an impactful mark at the NHL level. That said, he will continue to provide organizational depth for the Golden Knights after signing a one-year contract extension. The 27-year-old forward spent most of the 2025-26 season in the AHL, where he scored 26 points (13G / 13A) in 43 games with the Henderson Silver Knights.

Vegas has acquired Parker Wotherspoon (50% salary retained) from PIttsburgh for Kaeden Korczak.

Wotherspoon had a breakout 2025-26 season, playing predominantly alongside Erik Karlsson in Pittsburgh, recording 30 points (3G / 27A) and a +17 plus/minus in 80 games. The 28-year-old defenseman spent his first six professional seasons playing exclusively in the AHL before making his NHL debut in 2022-23 with the New York Islanders.

Vegas has signed Carl Lindbom to a three-year, $900,000 AAV contract extension ($2.7M total).

A myriad of injuries in the Vegas crease last season afforded Lindbom his NHL debut, during which he appeared in eight games (2-4-2) and posted a 3.00 GAA and .873 SV%. The 23-year-old Swedish goalie, a seventh-round pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, will likely remain a depth player for the organization in 2026-27 and continue in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights, where he posted an impressive 2.16 GAA and .926 SV% in 35 games last season (24-5-5).

Karlsson (arm) will not play in Game 6 on Sunday.

Karlsson left Game 5 with an arm injury on a hit from Sean Walker and did not return. With Karlsson sidelined for Game 6, the Golden Knights will have to shuffle their lines around. Either Brandon Saad or Reilly Smith will enter the lineup to replace Karlsson, and either Tomas Hertl will centre the second line, or Pavel Dorofeyev will move back into the top-6 with Mitch Marner going back to centre. Head coach John Tortorella would not commit to his changes.

Hart will start Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Hart allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Golden Knights 4-2 loss in Carolina in Game 5. Despite allowing four goals in all five games of the series and posting an .856 SV%, head coach John Tortorella has continued to express his confidence in Hart, and will turn to him again in a must-win Game 6 on Sunday. In the first three rounds, Hart stopped 0.88 goals above expected per/60. He's given up 0.48 goals above expected per/60 in the Stanley Cup Final.

Carter Hart
Hart will start Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Golden Knights will unsurprisingly stick with Hart between the pipes for a pivotal Game 5 matchup in Carolina on Thursday. Hart turned in a fourth-straight performance with a sub .900 SV% in Game 4, allowing four goals on 27 shots in the 5-3 defeat. Hart and the Golden Knights head into Game 5 as slight underdogs, entering action at +125 on the money line.

Carter Hart
Hart will start Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Hart hasn't performed at an elite level through the opening three games of the Stanley Cup Finals, but he's done enough to backstop Vegas to a 2-1 series lead. He and the Golden Knights remarkably still managed to secure a 5-4 overtime victory in Game 3 despite blowing a four-goal lead in the third period. Vegas enters action in Game 4 at -110 on the money line.

McNabb (face) is expected to play in Game 4.

McNabb missed most of Game 2 after taking a slap shot off the face, but logged a massive 35:47 TOI in Game 3. McNabb missed Monday's practice but head coach John Tortorella said he expects the bruising defenseman to remain in the lineup for Game 4 on Tuesday. McNabb has been great for Vegas throughout the postseason, and comes into Game 4 with 33 blocked shots (7th most in the playoffs) and 34 hits (35th) to go along with nine points (1G / 8A) in 18 games.

Brayden McNabb
Hanifin (undisclosed) is expected to play in Game 4.

Hanifin left Game 3 in the second period after a hit from Jordan Martinook but eventually returned early in the third period. He missed practice on Monday but head coach John Tortorella said he expects Hanifin to play in Game 4 on Tuesday. Through 19 playoff games, Hanifin has picked up seven assists, 23 SOG, 19 hits and 40 blocked shots.

Mcnabb could not finish Game 2 due to a scary upper-body injury but is warming up and expected to play Game 3 vs. Carolina. The 35-year-old is expected to wear a cage and return to his spot on Vegas' top defensive unit. In 17 playoff games this offseason, he has a goal, seven points and is a +10 plus/minus.
