Milano has been sidelined for almost four weeks with a torn oblique muscle. Travelling with the team bodes well for his chances of playing in one of the next two games, but for now he remains without a timetable for his return.

Dowd came out for Sam Gagner on Tuesday, but with Gagner back in Vancouver with a sprained ankle, Dowd will return tonight in Tampa Bay. Dowd has just two points (1G / 1A) in 36 games with the Kings/Canucks this season.


Dowd has had an extended run in the Canucks lineup but will be replaced by Brendan Gaunce in the lineup on Tuesday. Dowd has just one goal in 19 games since joining the Canucks.

Milano suffered an injury in Toronto on January 8th and has missed the last two games as a result. After undergoing tests, it was revealed that Milano is dealign with a torn oblique muscle and will be sidelined until at least mid-February.

Milano, 21, has five goals and five assists (10 points) in 28 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He returns to the Monsters, where he has collected two assists in four games.






Milano, who was the No. 16 overall pick in 2014, has had an average first quarter of the season, collecting five goals and five assists (10 points) in 24 games this season. He’ll return to Cleveland but will likely be the first forward recalled in the future. Milano had 47 points (18G / 29A) in 54 AHL games last season.



Strome has ripped it up at lower-levels early in his career but still hasn’t been able to find his stride in the NHL. He will look to change that this time around after picking up eight goals and 18 assists (26 points) in 15 games with the Roadrunners this season.

van Riemsdyk has recorded just two assists in 18 games so far this season and based on Saturday’s practice he will be replaced by Klas Dahlbeck in the lineup this afternoon.


Lindgren allowed five goals on 27 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. After winning three of his first four starts, Lindgren has now lost three straight while allowing a combined 12 goals on 84 shots (.857 SV%). He will face a Stars team that is 7-2-0 while averaging 3.56 goals for per game in Dallas.

Lindgren allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Canadiens’ loss to the Coyotes on Thursday. Lindgren was due for a dud eventually, but with Carey Price still out he will get a chance to redeem himself tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Lindgren has a 2.00 GAA and .938 SV% in six starts since being recalled.
