Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Avalanche.

Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Jets win over the Stars on Sunday. Hellebuyck hasn’t had the season he’s wanted but is tied for third in wins while posting a 2.64 GAA and .913 SV% in 14 starts since November 29th. In his first start vs. the Avalanche, Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 30 shots in a 5-2 win (Nov.9).

The loss snapped a brief two-game losing skid for Hellebuyck, who finished December at 7-4-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .916 SV%—his best month of the season so far. In his first start against the Penguins, Hellebuyck allowed four goals on 30 shots in a 4-3 loss (Nov.27).

The Predators have claimed Phil Di Giuseppe off of waivers from the Hurricanes.

Di Giuseppe has been a healthy scratch for the last four games and has just four points (1G / 3A) in 21 games with the Hurricanes this season. The 25-year-old will be a depth forward for the Predators—he has 14 goals and 27 assists (41 points) in 147 career NHL games.
