Helllebuyck will start Monday vs. the Wild.

Hellebuyck allowed one goal on 20 shots after replacing the injured Steve Mason (concussion) on Saturday. With Mason on IR, Hellebuyck could start the next three games, starting tonight vs. the Wild. Hellebuyck has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .929 SV% against the Wild this season.

The Jets have recalled Eric Comrie from Manitoba (AHL).

Steve Mason left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury so Comrie has been recalled to serve as Connor Hellebuyck’s backup on Monday. Comrie was a second round pick of the Jets in 2013 and has gone 8-4-1 with a 2.30 GAA and .927 SV% in 13 starts with the Moose this season.

Hellebuyck will start Monday in Nashville.

Hellebuyck turned aside 34 of 36 shots in the Jets’ win over the Devils on Saturday. Hellebuyck is on a three-game winning streak, posting a 1.63 GAA and .951 SV% in the process. Hellebuyck has played very well on the road this season, going 4-1-1 with a 2.29 GAA and .932 SV%, but he faces one of the best home teams in the NHL tonight—Nashville is 6-1-1 at Bridgestone Arena so far.

Toninato was recalled from San Antonio (AHL) and will make his NHL debut on Saturday.

Toninato was a fifth round pick in 2012 and has registered three goals and three assists in 13 games in his first pro year with the Rampage. The 23-year-old will centre a line with Nail Yakupov and Sven Andrighetto on his wings.

Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Jets win over the Flyers on Thursday. Hellebuyck has had a great start to 2017-18 and has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.41 GAA and .926 SV%. He comes into Saturday’s home matchup at 6-0-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .929 SV% at the MTS Centre this year.

Hellebuyck allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Jets’ win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Hellebuyck has been so good this season that he will start tonight instead of letting Steve Mason facing his former team. Hellebuyck comes in at 5-0-1 with a 2.35 GAA and .927 SV% on home-ice this season.

Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Hellebuyck allowed five goals on 22 shots in the Jets’ loss in Vegas on Friday. Despite Steve Mason recording the win in Arizona the following night, Hellebuyck will take on the Coyotes tonight on home-ice. Friday was the 24-year-old’s first regulation loss of the season and comes into Tuesday at 4-0-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .919 SV% at the MTS Centre.

Hellebuyck stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Jets’ win in Dallas on Monday. After a rough outing vs. Montreal on Saturday, Hellebuyck bounced back and got back to his winning ways. He has been victorious in four of his last five (4-0-1) with a 1.98 GAA and .940 SV%. The young netminder has yet to lose in regulation in 10 starts and makes for a must-start tonight in Vegas .

Hellebuyck allowed five goals on 50 shots in the Jets’ overtime loss to Montreal on Saturday. The loss snapped Hellebuyck’s three-game winning streak, but won’t deter Paul Maurice from going back to him tonight in Dallas. He faced the Stars last Thursday, stopping 21 of 23 shots in a 5-2 win on home ice.

Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Jets win over the Stars on Thursday. Hellebuyck extended his wining streak to three, allowing just four goals on 84 shots (.952 SV%). Hellebuyck has been one of the pleasant surprises to start 2017-18 and will make his fourth straight start tonight against a Montreal team that comes in at 4-8-1.

Lowry (upper-body) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice; won’t play until Saturday at the earliest.

Lowry will miss his eighth consecutive game with an upper-body injury that he suffered back on October 12th. He will miss Thursday’s game but could be back for Saturday’s contest vs. the Canadiens.

Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Jets’ win in Minnesota on Tuesday. Hellebuyck has been one of the best goalies in the NHL to start the 2017-18 season, ranking fourth in the NHL in GAA (1.91), fifth in SV% (.940) and tied for seventh in wins (6) through the first month of the year. Tonight he faces a Stars team averaging 2.83 goals for per game.

Hellebuyck stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Jets’ win over the Penguins on Sunday. IT was another stellar performance from Hellebuyck, who now sits at 5-0-1 with a 2.05 GAA and .937 SV% on the season. One of those wins came against the Wild, who he will face again tonight—that evening he stooped 24 of 27 shots en route to a 4-2 victory.

Niederreiter (ankle) will return to the Wild lineup on Tuesday.

The Wild initially listed Niederreiter as a game-time decision for Tuesday, but head coach Bruce Boudreau told a local radio station that Niederreiter will make his return tonight vs. the Jets. Niederreiter has missed the last six games but is expected to draw in on a line with Eric Staal tonight. He is still searching for his first point of the season, but Niederreiter likely won’t have to wait too long for it to happen.

Niederreiter has missed the last six games with a high-ankle sprain, but he is targeting a return to the lineup on Tuesday. Niederreiter has no points in three games this season, but he should be added from the waiver wire if he was dropped during his injury.
