The Jets will hand Hellebuyck his 18th start of the season when they travel to Denver on Friday. Hellebuyck was unfortunate to be tagged with the loss in his last start, allowing just a single goal on 26 shots in a 1-0 loss in St. Louis on Wednesday. The three-time Vezina Trophy winner brings a 9-7-1 record and .918 SV% into Wednesday night's matchup with the mighty Avalanche, where the Jets enter action at +200 on the money line.

Luke Schenn will be a healthy scratch on Friday against the Colorado Avalanche, opting for more mobility on the blueline with Fluery re-entering the lineup after recovering from a concussion. The 29-year-old Fleury had been recovering from a concussion and has not played in over a month.

Tanner Pearson will draw back into Winnipeg's lineup on Friday against the Colorado Avalanche, resulting in Koepke being a healthy scratch. The 27-year-old Koepke is averaging 10:26 time-on-ice and has six points (2G / 4A) in 24 games this season.

The Jets went 3-8-1 in 12 games with Hellebuyck sidelined due to a knee injury, but have collected at least a point in both games since his return (1-0-1). The 32-year-old Hellebuyck has been solid between the pipes, as per usual, posting a 2.44 GAA and .915 SV% in 16 games (9-6-1). The Jets enter the action on Wednesday as -132 road favorites against a St. Louis Blues team that has been outscored 19-9 in their last four games (1-3-0).

Rosen has been in and out of the lineup lately and has been loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL). The 22-year-old Rosen, a first-round pick from the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, has been effective when in the lineup, scoring seven points (3G / 4A) in 12 games.

Last week, the Penguins acquired Skinner in a trade from the Edmonton Oilers. After a delayed Visa process, he will make his Pittsburgh debut on Tuesday against his former team. The 27-year-old Skinner will be motivated to have a strong performance against the team that traded him, but it's unclear what the Penguins will get out of a goalie who has battled with consistency issues. Skinner had a 2.83 GAA and .891 SV% in 23 games with Edmonton this season (11-8-4), and was ironically moved after his most consistent stretch, posting a solid 2.15 GAA and .913 SV% in his last seven games (4-2-1). The Penguins enter Tuesday's contest as +123 home underdogs against an Oilers team coming off a 4-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

St. Ivany was battling a lower-body injury that kept him sidelined for several months. He made his 2025-26 debut while on a conditioning loan with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL) last week, scoring five points (1G / 4A) in five games. He makes his season debut with Pittsburgh on Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers.

The Jets went 3-8-1 in 12 games with Hellebuyck sidelined due to a knee injury, but they were seemingly a new team when he returned to the lineup on Saturday. The 32-year-old Hellebuyck was excellent in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Washington Capitals, saving 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%). Before his injury, Hellebuyck was in the running to be a candidate for another Vezina trophy, but he may have fallen out of the race after missing a full month. He has a 2.41 GAA and .916 SV% in 15 games (9-6-0). The Jets enter Monday's contest as -129 home favorites against an Ottawa Senators team that has lost four of its last five games (1-4-0).

Hellebuyck has not played since November 15th and was given a 4-6 week recovery timeline after undergoing a minor Arthroscopic knee procedure. That said, he returned to practice this week and appears to be targeting the early end of his timelines and could return to the crease as soon as Saturday against the Washington Capitals. The Jets have gone 3-8-1 in 12 games without Hellebuyck and will be eager to regain the services of their three-time Vezina-winning goalie. The 32-year-old Hellebuyck was showcasing a 2.51 GAA and .913 SV% in 14 games (8-6-0) before his injury.
