Koepke is expected to be a healthy scratch in Edmonton on Thursday.

He becomes the first Chinese-born player in history to sign an NHL contract. The 18-year-old winger was a fourth-round pick, 109th overall, of the Jets in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. He has 43 points (23 / 20A) in 29 games with the Niagara IceDogs (OHL) this season.

Poulter has been reassigned to Utica (AHL).

With Jake Allen (upper body) sidelined, Poulter was serving as Jacob Markstrom's backup but will return to Utica (AHL), swapping places with recently recalled Nico Daws. The 23-year-old Poulter has a 3.32 GAA and .871 SV% in nine games (2-4-2) with the Utica Comets (AHL) this season.
