Hellebuyck will start Game 6 in St. Louis.

The Jets enter Game 6 with a 3-2 series lead over the St. Louis Blues and will hope to close out the series, turning to Hellebuyck between the pipes. Hellebuyck has battled some adversity this postseason and was far from perfect in his most recent outing, allowing three goals on 19 shots (.842 SV%), but received ample goal support in a 5-3 victory. The 31-year-old netminder has a 3.96 GAA and .822 SV% in five games this postseason (3-2). The Jets enter Game 6 on Friday as slight -101 road underdogs against the Blues.

Scheifele (undisclosed) will not travel to St. Louis for Game 6 on Friday.

Scheifele exited Game 5 on Wednesday after an open-ice hit by Radek Faksa of the St. Louis Blues. The 32-year-old Scheifele played only 8:05 time-on-ice. He has six points (2G / 4A) in five games this postseasons and will miss at least one game due to an undisclosed injury.

Hellebuyck will start Game 5 vs. St. Louis on Wednesday.

During the regular season, Hellebuyck was outstanding, a leading candidate for the Vezina trophy, posting an absurd 2.00 GAA and .925 SV% in 63 appearances (47-12-3). He allowed five goals in a game, never more, on three separate occasions. In his last two games this postseason (0-2), Hellebuyck has allowed 11 goals on 43 shots (.744 SV%). With the series tied 2-2, Hellebuyck hopes to exercise some playoff demons, returning to the crease for Game 5. The Jets enter the action on Wednesday as -176 home favorites against a Blues team that has outscored them 16-10 in the series.

Vilardi (undisclosed) is expected to be ready to return for Game 5 vs. St. Louis on Wednesday.

Vilardi has not played since late March but will likely make his 2024-25 postseason debut on Wednesday in Game 5 against the St. Louis Blues. The Jets have lost two straight, evening their series at 2-2, and will rely on Vilardi to provide some much-needed offense. The 25-year-old Vilardi was having a tremendous season for the Jets before his injury, scoring 61 points (27G / 34A) in 71 games.

Hellebucyk will start Game 3 in St. Louis.

Heading to St. Louis with a 2-0 series lead, Winnipeg will of course stick with the reigning Vezina Trophy winner between the pipes on Thursday. After a mediocre 2025 playoff debut in Game 1, Hellebuyck silenced any remaining doubters in the second game of the series, allowing just a single goal on 22 shots. The Jets will look to grab a commanding 3-0 series lead on Thursday and remain slight favourites despite not having the home ice. They enter action at -130 on the money line.

Skinner will start Game 2 in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Skinner had a forgetful performance in Game 1, allowing the game-deciding goal late in the third period, one of the six he allowed on 30 shots (.800 SV%) in the 6-5 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. The 26-year-old Skinner will return to the crease for Game 2 on Wednesday. He saw limited action in the previous month, recovering from an injury, but played phenomenally in his final two regular season games (2-0-0), posting a 0.50 GAA, .972 SV%, and one shutout. The Oilers enter Game 2 as +112 road underdogs against the Kings.

Vilardi (upper-body) remained in a non-contact jersey at Wednesday's practice and is unlikely to return for Game 3 on Thursday.

Up 2-0 in the first-round series against the St. Louis Blues, the Jets are taking a cautious approach with returning Vilardi to the lineup. Vilardi appears to be nearing a return but without a rush to insert him into to the lineup, the Jets will likely wait until Vilardi returns to 100% health before proceeding with full-contact practices. The 25-year-old Vilardi was having a tremendous season for the Jets before his injury, scoring 61 points (27G / 34A) in 71 games.

Vilardi (upper-body) is a possibility to return for Game 3 on Thursday.

Up 2-0 in the first-round series against the St. Louis Blues, the Jets likely will not insert Vilardi into the lineup until he is fully healed. Given his up-in-the-air status for Game 3, Vilardi's health is likely near perfect as his return to the lineup seems to be on the imminent horizon. The 25-year-old Vilardi was having a tremendous season for the Jets before his injury, scoring 61 points (27G / 34A) in 71 games.
