Isak Rosen has been loaned to Rochester (AHL).

Rosen played seven games with the Sabres, averaging 8:35 time-on-ice, registering a -3 plus/minus, and failed to score a point. The 14th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft will return to the Rochester Americans of the AHL where he was having a terrific season, posting 19 points (8G / 11A) in 16 games.

Skinner will start for the seventh straight game and look for his sixth straight victory on Friday. Skinner has elevated his game since the Oilers changed coaches last month, highlighted by a tremendous .943 SV% during his season-best five-game winning streak, allowing only eight total goals over that stretch. The Oilers are considerable -187 home favourites against a Minnesota Wild team that has played well lately but was shut out 2-0 last night against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Jets are +119 road underdogs against their division rivals, the Colorado Avalanche, who will welcome Cale Makar back into the lineup.

Skinner will make his sixth straight start as he goes for his fifth consecutive win Wednesday as he takes on Carolina at home. The 25-year-old has improved his play of late but still has some ugly season totals with his 8-7-1 record, 3.16 GAA and .881 SV%. He will host the Carolina Hurricanes, who have lost two of their last three games but lead the NHL in shots on goal per game (34.5).

Skinner will make his sixth straight start as he goes for his fifth consecutive win Wednesday as he takes on Carolina at home. The 25-year-old has improved his play of late but still has some ugly season totals with his 8-7-1 record, 3.16 GAA and .881 SV%. He will host the Carolina Hurricanes, who have lost two of their last three games but lead the NHL in shots on goal per game (34.5).

Walker Duehr will draw back into the Flames' lineup Tuesday vs. Minnesota.

Duehr will draw back into the lineup in favour of Martin Pospisil, who will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday. Duehr has not played since November 22nd, serving as a healthy scratch for the last five games. He has four points (1G / 3A) in 14 games and is expected to play on an offensively-minded second line alongside Nazem Kadri and Connor Zary.

Nino Niederreiter has signed a three-year, $12 million ($4,000,000) extension with the Winnipeg Jets.

In his first full season with the Jets, Niederreiter is pacing for his best offensive output in over five years and has been rewarded with a three-year, $12 million contract extension. Niederreiter has 14 points (6G / 8A) in 23 games and is firing 2.7 shots on goal per game, the largest volume of his career and well above his career average of 2.0 shots per game. He has played this season predominantly on the third line with Adam Lowry and Mason Appleton.
