The 29-year-old has been enjoying a Vezina Trophy-worthy season, posting a 7-3-1 record with two shutouts, a .935 SV% and a 2.08 GAA. He takes on the Anaheim Ducks who have struggled offensively ranking 26th in the NHL in goals per game (2.69) and 24th in SOG (30.2).

Skinner will start Wednesday vs. the Kings.

Skinner stopped 40 of 42 shots (.952 SV%) during his previous time out in a win over Florida. The Edmonton native has been excellent this season, posting a 3-3-0 record with a .932 SV% and 2.52 GAA. He faces off against the Los Angeles Kings who lost 6-5 their last time out to Calgary.

Gregor was back in the Sharks' lineup for their previous game but will find himself heading back to the press box as a healthy scratch Friday. He has been limited in action this season, playing only six games and collecting zero points and a -3 plus/minus to go along with his seven SOG.

Gregor hasn't played since November 3rd as he has been a healthy scratch, but he finds himself back in the Sharks' lineup Thursday vs. St.Louis. Through five games this season, he has zero points with a -2 plus/minus and five PIMs.

The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Skinner, who is now 2-2-0 with a 2.10 GAA (6th in the NHL) and .944 SV% (3rd). Tonight he'll face a Capitals team that has lost four in a row (0-2-2) while scoring just 1.75 goals per game.

Skinner was exceptional his last time out stopping 40 of 42 shots in a 3-2 victory over Calgary. The Edmonton native has been a revelation this season, leading all goaltenders in the NHL with a .955 SV% and is second in GAA with his 1.59 GAA. He faces off against the hottest team in the NHL in New Jersey, who is on a four game winning streak and ranks second in the league in shots per game (39.1) and sixth in goals (3.6).

Head coach Rick Bowness announced Thursday that Morgan Barron will be out at least 4-5 weeks after undergoing wrist surgery. The 23-year-old has played well to start the season, collecting four points (1G/3A) and 15 SOG through nine games.
