Sorokin will start in New Jersey on Tuesday.

Sorokin is coming off a rare shutout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, in which he saved all 40 shots he faced. In his last five games (2-1-2), Sorokin has saved 176 of 189 shots (.931 SV%) and seems to be trending toward the Vezina-caliber form he has displayed over the last several seasons. Sorokin will need to be at his finest on Tuesday as the Islanders are +140 road underdogs against a New Jersey Devils team coming off a dominant 7-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

Ilya Sorokin
Phil Di Giuseppe will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Anaheim.

Di Giuseppe has dressed in every Canuck game this season but will be the odd man out Tuesday vs. Anaheim as Cole McWard makes his season debut. The 30-year-old left-winger has been enjoying his most productive career season to date with his three goals, five assists, 30 SOG, 13 PIMs and +5 plus/minus in 22 games this season.

Phil Di Giuseppe
Pyotr Kochetkov will start Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Kochetkov will take the Hurricanes' crease for a second straight start after stopping 21 of 23 shots (.913 SV%) in a victory over Columbus last game. The 24-year-old has mostly struggled in 2023-24, with his 2-4-0 record, 2.91 GAA and .881 SV%. He heads to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers who have won six of their last eight games and are fifth in the NHL in shots per game (32.3).

Pyotr Kochetkov
Anthony Stolarz will start Tuesday vs. Toronto.

Anthony Stolarz will draw his first start in five games with Florida on the second half of their back-to-back Tuesday and will take on Toronto on the road. The 29-year-old has excelled in his first season backing up in Florida, with his impressive 3-1-0 record, 2.28 GAA and .917 SV%. He will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have lost two-straight contests and are ninth in the NHL in goals per game (3.42).

Anthony Stolarz
Radko Gudas is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Gudas has been an offensive juggernaut for his own standards in his first season in Anaheim with four goals, seven points, 37 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus but is now day-to-day with a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old bruising defender is in his 12th NHL season and has never scored more than six goals ever.

Radko Gudas
Spencer Stastney has been reassigned to Milwaukee (AHL).

Stastney appeared in the Predators' previous five games and picked up a goal, four SOG, four PIMs and a +4 plus/minus during his short showing but has been reassigned to Milwaukee (AHL) Tuesday. The 23-year-old defender returns to the minors, where he had a goal and three assists in 10 games prior to his promotion.

Spencer Stastney
Jacob Moverare has been loaned to the Ontario Reign (AHL).

The revolving door of roster moves continues for Jacob Moverare who was recalled from Ontario (AHL) on Tuesday. The 25-year-old defensemen returns to the Kings where he failed to pick up a point in two games played in his previous appearances while averaging only 14:58 TOI. He has yet to score in 21 career games played but has two assists and 21 SOG during that span.

Jacob Moverare
Devon Levi has been loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL).

With Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (.918 SV%) playing so well and Eric Comrie locking down the backup spot, Devon Levi has been loaned to Rochester (AHL) for more game action. The 21-year-old struggled through injuries so far this season with his 3-4-1 record, 3.73 GAA and .876 SV%. He will head to Rochester for the first time in his career after making the immediate leap to the NHL from the NCAA near the end of 2022-23.

Devon Levi
Adam Edstrom has been reassigned to Hartford (AHL).

Edstrom did not see any NHL time during his very brief call up and will head back to Hartford (AHL) on Tuesday. The 23-year-old forward has yet to make his NHL debut but heads back to Hartford, where he had seven goals, two assists, 14 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus in 18 games prior to his promotion.

Adam Edstrom
Mark Friedman will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Anaheim.

Friedman played the last four games four the Canucks but will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Cole McWard to make his season debut. Friedman most recently played alongside Tyler Myers on the team's second defensive pair and has one point (0G / 1A) in 17 games this season.

Mark Friedman
Chicago has placed Corey Perry on unconditional waivers and plan to terminate his contract.

After a somewhat resurgent start to the season, scoring nine points (4G / 5A) in 16 games, Perry has been placed on unconditional waivers by the Blackhawks to terminate his contract. In a statement released by the team, Perry engaged in "unacceptable conduct" that violated his contract and team standards. Perry was a healthy scratch in the last three games for the Blackhawks as this situation was unfolding.

Corey Perry
Pittsburgh has placed Will Butcher on waivers.

Butcher had yet to play this season due to an undisclosed injury but was placed on waivers Tuesday by Pittsburgh with hopes to assign him to the AHL. The 28-year-old did not appear in the NHL in 2022-23, but had a successful campaign with the Texas Stars (AHL) where he had six goals, 43 points and a +11 plus/minus in 65 games played.

Will Butcher
Thatcher Demko was the first goalie off the ice at Tuesday's morning skate.

Demko will likely return to the crease on Tuesday when the Canucks welcome the Anaheim Ducks to Vancouver. Demko has been slightly inconsistent over the past several weeks (4-3-0), following up each victory with a sub.-900 SV% loss. Demko, a California native, will look to record consecutive victories for the first time in three weeks as the Canucks are sizeable -265 home favourites against a Ducks team that has lost six straight (0-6-0) and been held to fewer than three goals in all but one of those contests.

Thatcher Demko
Philipp Grubauer will start Tuesday in Chicago.

Grubauer will make his return to the crease for the Kraken on Tuesday after being sidelined with an undisclosed injury for their past two games. Before his injury, Grubauer had three wins in his last five appearances (3-1-0) but still managed only a .845 SV%. Grubauer has only three quality starts in 12 games this season (.250 QS%), a trend that makes him difficult to be relied upon in most fantasy formats. That said, he should be able to add to his win totals on Tuesday as the Kraken are -185 road favourites against a Chicago Blackhawks team that has lost six of their last seven (1-6-0).

Philipp Grubauer
Petr Mrazek will start Tuesday vs. Seattle.

Mrazek has not played the last two games for the Blackhawks but will make his return to the crease on Tuesday. Mrazek has been mostly solid this season, posting a 3.24 GAA and .904 SV% in 11 games (4-6-0), but is in the midst of his worst three-game stretch of the season (0-3-0), allowing 11 goals on 69 combined shots (.841 SV%). The Blackhawks have lost six of their last seven (1-6-0) and are +165 home underdogs against a Seattle Kraken team that has at least a point in five of their last six (3-1-2).

Petr Mrazek
Ty Dellandrea will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Winnipeg.

Dellandrea has been struggling in 2023-24 with only an assist, 11 SOG, two PIMs and a -4 plus/minus in 12 games and will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Winnipeg. The four-year veteran will be replaced by Craig Smith on the Stars' fourth line.

Ty Dellandrea
Craig Smith will draw back into the Stars' lineup Tuesday vs. Winnipeg.

Smith was a healthy scratch for the Stars' previous two games but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday as he takes Ty Dellandrea's spot on Dallas' fourth line. The 34-year-old veteran is in his 13th NHL season and has two goals, an assist, 15 PIMs and 28 SOG in 17 games played this year.

Craig Smith
Jake Oettinger will start Tuesday at Winnipeg.

Oettinger will start for the third consecutive game on Tuesday and look to rebound from a terrible performance in his most recent contest. On Friday, Oettinger allowed six goals on 26 shots (.769 SV%) en route to a 7-4 loss to the Calgary Flames and has fallen off significantly after a tremendous start to the season. After posting a .933 SV% in his first nine games (6-2-1), Oettinger has only managed a .865 SV% in his five games since (2-2-1). That said, Oettinger has been significantly stronger on the road this season, posting a .935 SV% in seven road games (5-1-1). The Stars are -118 road favourites against a Winnipeg Jets team coming off their first loss in six games (5-1-0).

Jake Oettinger
Ville Husso will start Wednesday vs. the New York Rangers.

Husso did not play on Sunday and has mostly served as a backup since the emergence of Alex Lyon, but is coming off his best performance in over a month, saving 25 of 27 shots (.926 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Friday. His terrific performance against the Bruins might be hard to replicate on Wednesday, as the Red Wings are expected to be without Dylan Larkin and are facing off against the New York Rangers, who have only two regulation losses in the last five weeks (13-2-1).
