Peeke suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's game in Toronto and will not return.

The injury occurred in the first period when Peeke took a hard hit from Max Pacioretty. Pacioretty was originally assessed a five-minute major on the play but the penalty was rescinded after review. We should receive an update on Peeke's injury ahead of Boston's game against the Flames on Thursday.

Andrew Peeke
Rittich will start in Minnesota on Tuesday.

After Darcy Kuemper shut out the Predators on Monday, the Kings will turn to Rittich in goal for the tail-end of their back-to-back on Tuesday. Rittich took a disappointing loss his last time out, allowing three goals on 20 shots in a 4-2 defeat against the Sharks on October 29th. The 32-year-old netminder owns an .870 SV% and a 3-3-0 record across six appearances this season. He will have his hands full again on Tuesday with the Kings entering action as +180 underdogs in Minnesota.

David Rittich
Hellebuyck will start against Utah on Tuesday.

Despite being one of the league's top netminders to start the 2024-25 season, Hellebuyck has faced some adversity lately, allowing four or more goals in two of his last three but has salvaged a 2-1-0 record. That said, those two blips have been minor in an otherwise Vezina-worthy season, as Hellebuyck boasts a stellar 2.33 GAA and .917 SV% through nine games (8-1-0). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as -197 home favorites against the Utah Hockey Club, losers of five of their last six (1-3-2).

Connor Hellebuyck
Vasilevskiy will start in St. Louis on Tuesday.

Vasilevskiy had the night off in Tampa Bay's previous game, a 7-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets, but will return to the crease on Tuesday as he attempts to help his team end a two-game losing skid. The 30-year-old Vasilevskiy has been serviceable, albeit unspectacular, to start the 2024-25 campaign, posting a 2.54 GAA and .906 SV% through 10 games 6-4-0. Tampa Bay enters Tuesday's contest as -175 road favorites against a St. Louis Blues club averaging 2.6 goals per game.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Geekie is listed as a scratch for Tuesday's game against the Maple Leafs.

Geekie makes way for the recently signed Tyler Johnson, who is set to make his Bruins debut. Geekie is off to a slow start this season, with zero goals and just two assists to his name through 11 games.

Morgan Geekie
Forbort (lower-body) is being evaluated after missing practice on Tuesday.

Forbort played 15:18 time-on-ice in the Canucks' previous game, returning from a six-game absence due to personal reasons, but has suffered a lower-body injury and will likely not play on Tuesday. The 32-year-old Forbort has one point (0G / 1A) while averaging 16:30 time-on-ice through four games this season.

Derek Forbort
Winterton will make his season debut on Tuesday in Colorado.

Winterton was the third-round pick, 67th overall, of the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old had a nine-game stint with Seattle last season, scoring zero points. He has five points (3G / 2A) in seven games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season.

Ryan Winterton
Hayden will make his season debut on Tuesday in Colorado.

Hayden has 249 games of NHL experience since being drafted in the third round by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft but has been limited to only nine games since the end of the 2021-22 season. The 29-year-old had 26 points (15G / 11A) in 65 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) last season. Hayden will replace Oliver Bjorkstrand in Seattle's lineup on Tuesady.

John Hayden
Bjorkstrand is expected to be a healthy scratch on Tuesday in Colorado.

John Hayden will draw into Seattle's lineup on Tuesday, replacing Bjorkstrand, who will be a healthy scratch for the first time this season. Bjorkstrand was a Western Conference All-Star last season, scoring 59 points (20G / 39A) in 82 games. This season, Bjorkstrand has only five points (3G / 2A) in 13 games and has been held off the scoresheet in seven of the last eight.

Oliver Bjorkstrand
Benson (lower-body) is expected to return on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Benson has not played the last five games due to a lower-body injury but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators. Benson had played six of seven games to start the season for the Sabres before his injury, scoring zero points and recording a -4 plus/minus. In a corresponding move, the Sabres have reassigned Jiri Kulich to the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Zach Benson
Joshua (testicular cancer) is a possibility to play on Thursday vs. Los Angeles.

In mid-September, the Canucks announced that 28-year-old Dakota Joshua had been diagnosed with testicular cancer and successfully had a tumor removed but would not be ready for the start of training camp. The fifth-year winger is coming off his best season in 2023-24, with 18 goals, 32 points, 60 PIMs, 84 SOG, and a +19 plus/minus through 63 games played.
