Bortuzzo re-enters the lineup in place of Juuso Valimaki, who was a late scratch for Thursday's game in Boston. Bortuzzo is yet to register a point in six games this season.

Hagg fills in for Alex Pietrangelo, who was a surprise scratch due to a lower-body injury. It's Hagg's first NHL action since he went pointless in five games with the Ducks last season.

The Devils return to action on November 21st against the Carolina Hurricanes, and thankfully will have the services of Meier, who was day-to-day with back spasms. The 28-year-old Meier is averaging 17:24 time-on-ice and has 14 points (7G / 7A), 38 hits, and 63 shots in 21 games this season.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, after losing 3-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, the Golden Knights will turn to Samsonov in net. Samsonov has not played much lately, partly due to injury, and is sporting a pedestrian 3.15 GAA and .897 SV% in six games this season (3-2-1). The Golden Knights enter the action as +140 road underdogs against an Ottawa Senators club amid a three-game losing skid.

Pietrangelo was a surprise scratch on Thursday with his absence not being announced prior to warmups. Robert Hagg will draw into the lineup in his place.

After a rocky start to the season, Georgiev had seemingly turned his game around before a lower-body injury landed him on injured reserve last week. The 28-year-old netminder owns a .913 SV% and a 3-1-0 record across his last four games. He returns to a favourable matchup on Thursday with the Avalanche entering action at -150 on the money line.

Johansson will somewhat surprisingly make his third start of the season when the Lightning travel to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets on Thursday. It's the first appearance for Johansson since he surrendered five goals on 32 shots in a 7-4 loss to the Jets on November 3rd. He draws a decent matchup on Thursday with Lightning entering action as -160 road favourites.

Gadjovich will exit the lineup to make way for Mackie Samoskevich. Gadjovich has just one goal and zero assists in ten games this season.

Samoskevich will re-enter the lineup in place of Jonah Gadjovich, who will be a healthy scratch. Samoskevich has three goals and two assists in 16 games this season.

Knight will make his sixth start of the season when the Panthers travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks on Thursday. It will be Knight's first appearance since November 12th, when he allowed three goals on 23 shots in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Devils. Florida's backup netminder owns an .897 SV% and a 3-2-0 record on the season. He's got an excellent chance of getting back in the win column on Thursday with the Panthers entering action as -250 road favourites.

Mrazek has been sidelined the previous two games but will return to the crease on Thursday against the Florida Panthers. The 32-year-old Mrazek has been solid between the pipes for the Blackhawks this season, posting a 2.79 GAA and .906 SV% in 13 games (5-8-0).

Ovechkin exited Monday's game late in the third period after a knee-on-knee collision with Utah HC's Jack McBain. Ovechkin will be out 4-6 weeks with a fractured left fibula. Before the injury on Monday, Ovechkin had a two-goal game, adding to his impressive start to the 2024-25 campaign with a league-leading 15 goals. The 39-year-old Ovechkin was well on his way to surpassing Wayne Gretzky's all-time goal record (894), only 27 away, a feat that could be jeopardized due to missing extended time.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Hurricanes will turn to Martin between the pipes for the second time in four games. The 29-year-old Martin began the season in the AHL and has predominantly served as the backup to Pyotr Kochetkov. That said, he was tremendous in his previous outing, saving all 24 shots he faced in a 4-0 shutout victory over the Ottawa Senators. The Hurricanes have outscored their opposition 12-2 in their previous three games (3-0-0) and enter Thursday's contest as slight -103 road underdogs against the New Jersey Devils.

Hagg is no stranger to the NHL, with 343 games of NHL experience, but has primarily played in the AHL the past two seasons. He has eight points (1G / 7A) in 14 games with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL). Hagg's call-up may just be precautionary as Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore are both reportedly banged up.

Pesce had been battling an undisclosed injury but, with five days between games, seems to have had ample time to recover. He will likely be in the lineup on Thursday against his former club, the Carolina Hurricanes. The 30-year-old Pesce has been a stabilizing presence on the blueline in his first season with New Jersey, averaging 20:42 time-on-ice and recording 20 blocks in 12 games.

Arvidsson is battling an undisclosed ailment and will miss his fifth consecutive game. Most recently, the 31-year-old Arvidsson had been suiting up on a line with Leon Draisatl after struggling to find success in the early going of his first season with the Oilers, scoring five points (2G / 3A) in his first 16 games.

The Devils will turn to Markstrom between the pipes on Thursday for his 500th career game. The 34-year-old Markstrom has an up-and-down season with the Devils, posting a 2.58 GAA and .907 SV% in 14 games (8-5-1), but has been reliable lately, posting a .924 SV% in his previous seven outings (5-2-0). Devin Shore will make his season debut on Thursday, resulting in Jones being a healthy scratch. The 25-year-old Jones has played three NHL games but has primarily been an AHL player. He has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 14 games with the Iowa Wild (AHL) this season.

Shore is no stranger to the NHL, with 139 career points (51G / 88A) in 443 career games. That said, the 30-year-old Shore has been primarily an AHL player the previous two seasons and has 10 points (2G / 8A) in 14 games with the Iowa Wild (AHL).
