Kochetkov will be back between the pipes on Tuesday after Frederik Andersen got the nod in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Senators. Kochetkov performed admirably his last time out, stopping 36 of the 40 shots he faced as the Hurricanes edged the Maple Leafs in a 5-4 shootout victory on Saturday. He continues to split time with Andersen as Carolina has rotated their netminder each game since Andersen's return from injury. Kochketkov is a good bet to stay in the win column on Tuesday with the Hurricanes being -160 favourites on Long Island.

Gruden will draw into the Penguins lineup for the first time since March 10th as he draws into the lineup in place of the injured Jeff Cater (upper-body). Gruden has one goal in 11 NHL games this season.

Willman will slide into the lineup in place of Kurtis MacDermid, who will be a healthy scratch. Willman has one goal and one assist in 13 games this season.

MacDermid will be the odd-man out when the Devils host the Penguins on Tuesday night. Maxwell Willman will draw into the lineup in his place.

Ginning will make just his second appearance of the season when the Flyers host the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Marc Staal will sit in his place.

Rasmussen is battling an illness but will play in Tuesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 24-year-old Rasmussen has been productive lately for a struggling Red Wings club, scoring four points (1G / 3A) in his last five games.

Shesterkin responded from a poor outing, allowing five goals on 27 shots (.815 SV%) in a 6-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, with a stellar 25-save performance (.926 SV%) in his last outing, a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders. The 28-year-old Shesterkin has been stellar the last several weeks, posting a tremendous .944 SV% and three shutouts in his last 12 games (9-2-1). The Rangers enter action as -119 home favourites against the Winnipeg Jets.

Kovalenko suffered the injury towards the end of the KHL season and will report to the Eagles for further rehabilitation before potentially getting a look at the NHL level. Kovalenko is yet to make his NHL debut but has impressed in his last few KHL seasons. The 24-year-old winger had 11 goals and 24 assists in 42 games with the Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo this season.

Gylander is Detroit's 2019 seventh-round pick (191st overall) and has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Detroit starting in 2024-25. The 22-year-old just closed out his senior year at Colgate University (NCAA) and posted a 14-14-4 record with a 2.93 GAA and .901 SV%. He will join the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) on an amateur tryout for the remainder of this season.

Krys closed out his senior season at Providence College (AHL) earlier this week and has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Dallas beginning in the 2024-25 season. The 23-year-old undrafted defenseman jumped around during college, dressing for Brown University (NCAA) for three seasons before transferring to Providence for his senior year. He had 17 points (6G/11A) in 35 games this season.


The Blackhawks will turn to Mrazek for the third time in the last four games on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings. Mrazek has won two of his last three outings and played well in relief against the Kings last week, saving 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) in a 5-0 loss. That said, the Blackhawks enter action as significant +321 road underdogs against the Kings.

Wotherspoon was recalled last week in correspondence to Jonas Seaganthaler (concussion) being out indefinitely but did not draw into the lineup. The 31-year-old defenseman makes a great story as his last NHL appearance was in 2016-17 with Calgary. He succeeded on Utica's back-end so far this season, with four goals, 19 points, 18 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 54 games played.

Alex Pietrangelo is battling an illness and will not suit up on Tuesday, allowing Hague to draw into the lineup. Hague did not play the last game but has been a regular for the Golden Knights this season, posting 12 points (2G / 10A), 102 hits, and 94 blocks in 58 games this season.

Nicolas Hague will draw into the lineup in favour of Pietrangelo, who is battling an illness. Pietrangelo has three points (0G / 3A) in his last five games and could return to the lineup on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken.
