Owen Beck has been returned to the Peterborough Petes (OHL).

Beck played in one game as an emergency call-up for Montreal, collecting a -1 plus/minus through 14 shifts and 9:48 TOI but has been returned to the Peterborough Petes of the OHL. The 2022 2nd round pick (33rd overall) returns to Peterborough (OHL) where he has 19 goals and 45 points in 38 games played.

Charlie Lindgren will start Tuesday vs. Columbus.

Lindgren allowed a goal on seven shots (.857 SV%) in his second straight relief appearance as he picked up no contest in his previous game vs. Toronto. The Capitals' backup netminder started the season hot but has come back down to earth as of late, leading to his 11-6-2 record, 2.66 GAA and .907 SV%. He will take on Columbus, who has lost three of their last four games after a 3-1 loss to Seattle last contest.

Jake Allen will start Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Allen allowed four goals on 42 shots (.905 SV%) as he returned from injury and picked up his eighth loss in nine games as he was defeated by Detroit last start. The 32-year-old has battled the puck all season long leading to a 10-16-2 record, 3.53 GAA and .893 SV%. He takes on the Ottawa Senators, who have won their last three games and are fifth in the NHL in shots per game (33.7).

Jakob Lauko has been recalled from the Providence Bruins (AHL).

Lauko has eight goals, six assists, 53 PIMs and a +11 plus/minus through 29 games with Providence (AHL) but has been recalled to Boston for the second time this year. In his previous stint with the Bruins, the 22-year-old has a goal, and an assist, with seven SOG through seven games.

Vinni Lettieri has been recalled from Providence (AHL).

Lettieri has 16 goals, 21 assists, 26 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 41 games with Providence (AHL) and has been recalled for the first time Tuesday. Lettieri has previously played in 82 NHL games across four seasons with Anaheim and the New York Rangers, with seven goals, 11 assists, and 125 SOG.

Marcus Bjork will draw back into the Blue Jackets' lineup Tuesday vs. Washington.

Bjork hasn't played for the Blue Jackets since January 10th but will draw back into the lineup as a replacement for Jake Christiansen Tuesday. The 25-year-old has three goals, eight assists, 29 SOG, 24 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 26 games so far this season.

Andersen stopped 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%) for his fifth win in six games as he beat Boston in his previous start. The 33-year-old has had an injury-riddled campaign, leading to his 10-3-0 record, 2.38 GAA and .909 SV%. He will face the Los Angeles Kings, who last their last game 5-2 to Tampa Bay but have the 10th-best Powerplay in the NHL (23.7%).

Mads Sogaard has been recalled from Belleville (AHL).

Sogaard has a 5-9-1 record, .901 SV% and 3.21 GAA in Belleville (AHL) and has been recalled for the first time this season to Ottawa. The 22-year-old previously played in two games in the NHL in 2021-22, posting a 1-1-0 record, 3.07 GAA and .889 SV%. He was a 2019 2nd-round pick (37th overall).

Forsberg is expected to start Tuesday in Montreal.

Forsberg was perfect, stopping all 28 of 28 shots as he beat Montreal for his second shutout of the season in his last start. The 30-year-old struggled early in the year but has picked it up in his last few starts, leading to his 10-10-2 record, 3.09 GAA and .906 SV%. He takes on Montreal again, whose last game was the 5-0 loss to Ottawa which extended their three-game losing skid and handed them their fourth loss in five games.

Binnington led the Blues onto the ice for warmups.

Binnington allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Blues' loss in Colorado on Saturday. Binnington did all he could to keep the Blues in it, but lost his third straight, allowing 11 goals on 67 shots (.836 SV%) in the process. Tonight he faces a Jets team that is 13th in the NHL in goals (3.18 GF/gm) as a massive +199 underdog, making him a risky fantasy option.
