Campbell will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Campbell allowed two goals on 13 shots (.846 SV%) to take the rare, relief appearance loss in his last start as he was defeated by Los Angeles. The 31-year-old continues to struggle as we get to the mid wait point of the season, with his 9-8-1 record, 3.68 GAA and .877 SV%. He will hope for some better fortunes against the Anaheim Ducks, who lost their previous game 7-1 vs. Boston and are 31st in the NHL in goals per game (2.27).

Frederik Andersen will travel with the Hurricanes and practice Thursday (lower body).

Andersen has not played since Nov. 6th due to a lower-body injury but will travel and potentially start Thursday depending on how the day's earlier practice goes. The 33-year-old will hope for some better fortunes after struggling prior to his injury, with a 5-3-0 record, 2.72 GAA and .891 SV%.

Kreider left the Rangers' previous game vs. Minnesota after 16:52 TOI with an upper-body injury and is now considered day-to-day. The 31-year-old has 19 goals, 11 assists, 138 SOG, and a +11 plus/minus through 42 games but will miss Thursday's game vs. the Stars.

Aatu Raty has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL).

Raty had two goals, 10 SOG, and four PIMs across seven games to open his NHL career but has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL) Wednesday. He heads back to Bridgeport, where he had five goals, seven assists, 10 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 23 games prior to his call-up.

Robin Salo has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL).

Salo had two goals, two assists, nine SOG and a +1 plus/minus through 11 games with the Islanders but will head back down to Bridgeport (AHL). In his previous time in the minors, he had two assists in four games and will be hoping to be back with New York sooner rather than later.

Jesse Ylonen has been recalled from the Laval Rockets (AHL).

Ylonen has eight goals, 27 points, 16 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus rating through 34 games played with Laval (AHL) but has been recalled to the Canadiens for the first time this season. The 23-year-old played in 15 games with Montreal in 2021-22, picking up two goals, five points and a +2 plus/minus in his short showing.

Brett Seney has been reassigned to the Rockford IceHogs (AHL).

Seney failed to pick up a point across his two-game showing with the Blackhawks but will be reassigned to the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) on Wednesday. The 26-year-old was having a phenomenal season with Rockford prior to his call-up, ranking top-five in AHL scoring with his 14 goals, and 38 points through 32 games prior to his promotion.

Bobby McMann will make his NHL debut Wednesday vs. Nashville.

McMann had eight goals, seven assists, six PIMs and a +4 plus/minus with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and was recalled to the Toronto Maple Leafs for the first time in his career Tuesday. With Auston Matthews missing Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury, he will be making his NHL debut.

Matthews has 20 goals, 47 points, 173 SOG, 14 PIMs, 17 PPP and a +17 plus/minus through 41 games for the Maple Leafs but will miss his first game of the season Wednesday vs. Nashville. Head coach Sheldon Keefe said it was "something that has been bothering him for a while.” Bobby McMann will be making his NHL debut in his absence.

Hart allowed six goals on 35 shots (.829 SV%) for his third loss in four starts as he was downed by Toronto in his previous start. The 24-year-old has struggled to put up consistent numbers due to the talent surrounding him, with his 11-12-6 record, 2.97 GAA and .908 SV%. He will face the Washington Capitals, who have won 8 of their last 11 games and are 13th in the NHL in goals per game (3.26).

Ryan Poehling has been placed on the injured reserve retroactive to December 30th (upper body).

Ryan Poehling has been placed on the injured reserve with an upper-body injury retroactive to December 30th, 2022. The 24-year-old has four goals, four assists, 34 SOG and a +3 plus/minus through 31 games this season prior to his injury and is eligible to return any time.

Jarry left the Winter Classic last Monday just 15:30 into the first period with an undisclosed injury and has been placed on the injured reserve retroactive to January 2nd. The 27-year-old was having a strong season, with his 15-5-4 record, 2.75 GAA and .918 SV% prior to the injury and will hope to be back sooner rather than later.

Mark Friedman has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Friedman failed to pick up both a shot or a point through his three games with the Penguins and will head back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) Wednesday. The 27-year-old had a goal, four assists, 13 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 19 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton prior to his call-up.

Joona Koppanen has been recalled from Providence (AHL) and will make his NHL debut Thursday.

Koppanen had five goals, 19 points, 22 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus rating through 34 games this season with the Providence Bruins (AHL) and earned his first career NHL call-up Wednesday. The 24-year-old has yet to experience any NHL action throughout his career so when cracks the Bruins' lineup Thursday, he will be making his long-awaited debut.

Wagner played 12:36 TOI and failed to pick up a point in his one-game showing with the Bruins but will head back to Providence (AHL) Wednesday. The 31-year-old veteran will head back to Providence, where he had nine goals, 11 points, 37 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 27 games prior to his call-up.
