Jonas Brodin will be back in the Wild lineup Friday vs. Edmonton (lower body).

Brodin has not played since Nov.27th due to a lower-body injury but will be back in the Wilds' lineup Friday on a pair with Matt Dumba. The 29-year-old has four assists, 29 SOG and 12 PIMs in 19 games prior to the injury.

Jonas Brodin
Hill was the first goalie off of the ice at the Golden Knights morning skate.

Hill stopped 24 of 25 shots (.960 SV%) as he snapped a three-game losing skid with a win over Detroit on Dec. 3rd. The Golden Knights backup has been solid this season with a 6-2-1 record, 2.55 GAA and .908 SV%. He faces the Philadelphia Flyers, who have dropped three of their last four games after a 4-1 loss to Washington on Wednesday.

Adin Hill
Fleury will start Friday in Edmonton.

Fleury allowed four goals on 26 shots (.846 SV%) as he ended a three-game winning streak with a loss to Calgary in his last start. The 38-year-old has produced wins with his 9-6-1 record, despite playing very poorly as shown by his .892 SV% and 3.10 GAA. He takes on the Edmonton Oilers, who won their previous contest 8-2 over Arizona and has the second-best power play in the league converting at 29.6%.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Shesterkin will start Friday in Colorado.

Shesterkin stopped 25 of 26 shots (.962 SV%) for his second straight victory as he defeated St.Louis in his previous start. Last season's Vezina Trophy winner has not been as dominant this season as shown by his .913 SV%, 2.58 GAA and 12-4-4 record. He will face the Colorado Avalanche, who have uncharacteristically lost three straight and four of their last five games.

Igor Shesterkin
Swayman will start Friday in Arizona.

Swayman stopped 21 of 24 shots (.875 SV%) before ultimately taking the overtime loss vs. Vegas in his previous start. The 24-year-old Bruins' backup has been up and down this season with a 5-2-1 record, 2.63 GAA and .899 SV%. He will face the Arizona Coyotes, who are in the middle of a six-game losing skid and have lost 10 of their last 11 games.

Jeremy Swayman
Eetu Makiniemi will make his first career start Friday vs. Anaheim.

Makiniemi allowed two goals on eight shots (.750 SV%) in relief hockey in his first career NHL appearance last game vs. the Vancouver Canucks. He will get the first start of his career Friday after posting a 6-4-2 record and .918 SV% with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL). He draws a good first matchup with the Anaheim Ducks, who are 30th in the NHL in goals for per game (2.48) and 21st in shots (30.2).

Eetu Makiniemi
Georgiev will start Friday vs. the Rangers.

Georgiev allowed four goals on 37 shots (.892 SV%) as he picked up his third loss in four starts with a defeat vs. Boston. The 26-year-old has struggled as of late but still has a strong 11-5-1 record, with a .918 SV% and 2.76 GAA. He takes on the New York Rangers who have won their last two games scoring a combined 11 goals between both wins.

Alexandar Georgiev
Valeri Nichuskin is a game-time decision Friday vs. the Rangers (foot).

Nichuskin has not played since October 25th due to a foot injury but is a game-time decision Friday to return to the injury-riddled Colorado Avalanche. Prior to his injury, the 27-year-old was one of the NHL's hottest players with seven goals, five assists and 26 SOG through only seven games to start the season.

Valeri Nichushkin
Brad Hunt has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Hunt will get the call-up to the Avalanche for the first time this season after posting an uncharacteristic six goals and 20 points with 12 PIMs and a +11 plus/minus through 22 games with the Eagles (AHL). The 34-year-old will be looking to add to his 76 career points (22G/54A) and 241 career NHL GP when he cracks the lineup.

Brad Hunt
Arvid Soderblom will start Friday vs. Winnipeg.

Soderblom allowed three goals on 29 shots (.897 SV%) as he picked up his sixth straight loss in a defeat to New Jersey in his last start. The rookie has had an up-and-down first season in Chicago's crease, with a 2-7-2 record, .905 SV% and 3.19 GAA. He draws the tough task of the Winnipeg Jets who are 1st in the Central Division and have won three straight games scoring five goals.

Arvid Soderblom
Skinner is in the starter's crease at the Oilers morning skate.

Skinner was not busy in his last start vs. Arizona but still picked up the win by stopping 16 of 18 SOG (.889 SV%). The Edmonton native has taken over the Oilers' starting job due to his 8-6-0 record, 2.86 GAA and .915 SV%. He draws the Minnesota Wild, who are 17th in the NHL in both shots per game (31.4) and goals (3.12) per game.
