Robert Thomas will return to the Blues' lineup Thursday vs. Carolina (upper body).

Thomas missed the Blues' previous game vs. Dallas due to an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup Thursday. The 23-year-old has been one of the more productive St. Louis players' this season, posting four goals, 15 assists and 32 SOG through 21 GP.

Nikita Zaitsev has been recalled from Belleville (AHL).

Zaitsev will be called up to Ottawa as a depth piece and will likely only be up with the big club for the weekend. The 31-year-old had one assist and six PIMs through seven games earlier in the season prior to being demoted.

Marc-Andre Fleury will start vs. Edmonton Thursday.

Fleury stopped 20 of 23 shots (.870 SV%) to snap a two-game losing skid as he beat Arizona in his previous start. The 37-year-old has struggled this season as shown by his .901 SV%, 2.91 GAA and 7-5-1 record. He takes on the Edmonton Oilers, who are on a three-game win streak after beating Chicago 5-4 Wednesday in their first of their back-to-back games.

Tristian Jarry will start in goal vs. the Vegas Golden Knights.

Jarry stopped 36 of 39 shots (.923 SV%) to snap a four-game winning streak as he lost 3-2 to Carolina in his last start. This season, he has been his usual solid self, posting an 8-3-3 record with a 2.90 GAA and .914 SV%. He draws the challenging task of the Vegas Golden Knights who are ninth in the NHL in both goals for (3.42) per game and shots (33.1) per game.

Jake Oettinger is in the starters' crease for Thursday's optional morning skate.

Oettinger allowed five goals on 28 shots (.821 SV%) in a loss to Winnipeg in his previous start. The 23-year-old has been solid this season, posting an 8-2-3 record with a 2.52 GAA and .917 SV%. He takes on the struggling Anaheim Ducks who have lost seven of their last eight contents and rank 31st in the NHL in goals per game (2.48).

Andrej Sustr has been recalled from the Iowa Wild (AHL).

Sustr should serve as the extra defenseman with Jonas Brodin being announced injured Thursday. The 32-year-old had five assists and a +6 plus/minus through 15 games with Iowa (AHL) this season. If he does crack the lineup for the Wild he will build off his 69 points (11G/58A) and 333 SOG through 361 career NHL games played.

Tony DeAngelo will be a game-time decision Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

DeAngelo was a game-time decision but missed Tuesday's game vs. the Islanders due to a lower-body injury. The 27-year-old has had an up-and-down first season in Philadelphia with three goals, seven assists, 48 SOG and a -12 plus/minus through 22 games and will hope to be healthy enough to draw back into the lineup vs. the Lightning.

Hart will start Thursday vs. the Lightning.

Hart stopped 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) to snap a six-game losing streak as he beat NYI in his previous start. Hart has been solid despite his team's struggles around him, shown by his 7-5-4 record, .917 SV% and 2.73 GAA. He takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning that lost 3-1 to Boston in their last game but ranks 7th in the NHL in goals per game (3.45).

Cole Bardreau has been recalled from loan from Bridgeport (AHL).

Bardreau has five goals, four assists and 23 PIMs through 19 games with Bridgeport (AHL) prior to his call-up Thursday. The 29-year-old last played in the NHL in 2019-20 where he played in 10 games, picking up a goal, an assist and 10 SOG through.

Hudson Fasching has been recalled from Bridgeport (AHL).

Fasching earned his call-up as he had seven goals, three assists and 10 PIMs through 18 games with Bridgeport (AHL) prior to the news he had been recalled. The 27-year-old has never played in more than 11 games in a season but has made an NHL appearance in five separate ones, picking up a goal and two assists and a -6 plus/minus across 38 total NHL games played.

Vanecek is in the starter's crease at the Devils morning skate.

Vanecek stopped 35 of 38 shots (.921 SV%) to pick up his second straight win as the Devils beat NYR his last time out. The 26-year-old has been nearly unbeatable in his first season in New Jersey, posting an 11-2-0 record with a .923 SV% and 2.11 GAA. He takes on the Nashville Predators who have only played once in the last week due to postponements, but won 2-1 in overtime.

Kyle Palmieri is being placed on the injured reserve (retroactive to 11/21/22) with an upper-body injury.

Palmieri has not played since Nov.20th when he left a game vs. Toronto due to an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old veteran has six goals, nine points and 37 SOG through 20 games so far this season prior to the injury.

Saros will start Thursday in New Jersey.

Saros stopped 34 of 35 shots (.971 SV%) to pick up his fifth win in six starts as he beat Anaheim in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been much better as of late and holds an 8-6-2 record with a 2.92 GAA and .910 SV%. He takes on the red-hot New Jersey Devils who are on a three-game winning streak and have won 16 of their last 17 games played.

Cal Clutterbuck is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Clutterbuck left the Islanders' previous contest after just eight shifts and 4:11 TOI after suffering an upper-body injury vs. Philadelphia. The 35-year-old just made history with the most Hits in NHL history and has two goals, an assist and a +2 plus/minus through 22 games this season. He is considered day-to-day for the time being.

Cirelli (shoulder) could play as soon as Saturday.

Cirelli, who is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, removed his non-contact sweater last week and could play Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs. Expect Cirelli to start to work into the mix at practice over the next few days if he's going to make his season debut on December 3rd.
