Klingberg has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury and is not with the team in Dallas, and could miss the final three games of their road-trip. Klingberg has struggled since joining the Ducks, scoring one goal, seven assists and a minus-12 rating in 20 games.

Trocheck had picked up a minor knock and is considered day-to-day after it was announced he would be a game-time decision Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury but will play officially. The 29-year-old has enjoyed a solid start to his Rangers' tenure, scoring eight goals and seven assists with a -8 plus/minus and 79 SOG through 23 games played.

Halak stopped 19 of 22 shots (.864 SV%) picking up his sixth straight loss in a start vs. Anaheim his previous time out. The 37-year-old has been horrible as the Rangers' backup, posting a 0-5-1 record with his .881 SV% and 3.20 GAA. He will face off against the Ottawa Senators who are on a two-game winning streak and rank seventh in the NHL in shots on goal per game (33.5).

Craig Anderson will start Wednesday vs. the Red Wings.

Anderson stopped 41 of 44 shots (.932 SV%) in his previous start but unfortunately took the loss to the high-flying New Jersey Devils. He takes on the Detroit Red Wings who lost in their previous contest 4-2 to Toronto but have won four of their last five games.

He draws a good matchup with the Chicago Blackhawks who are 30th in the NHL in goals per game (2.48) and 31st in shots per game (26.3).

He will be a healthy scratch Wednesday as the Sharks play their second of a back-to-back vs. Toronto.

Svechnikov was a healthy scratch for the Sharks' win Tuesday vs. Montreal but will draw back into the lineup Wednesday. The 26-year-old has three goals and three assists with 17 SOG through 18 games played while playing bottom-six minutes averaging only 10:41 TOI.

Aaron Dell will make his season debut vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday.

With San Jose coming off a 4-0 victory over Montreal Tuesday, Aaron Dell will make his season debut Wednesday in place of the injured James Reimer. The 33-year-old veteran has a .905 SV% and 2.93 GAA through 126 career NHL GP across six NHL seasons. He takes on the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are on a four-game winning streak and have won seven of their last nine contests.

Benson had two assists and two PIMs in three games with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL) prior to his callup to the Oilers. It is a terrible loss for the Penguins as the 35-year-old had a goal, 11 assists, and 44 SOG through 21 games in 2022-23 after putting up 68 points in 78 games last season.
