The Blackhawks' backup has been solid in his rookie season as shown by his 2-4-2 record, .910 SV% and 3.00 GAA. He draws the Edmonton Oilers who have won their last two games and rank 10th in the NHL in goals per game with 3.36.

The Sabres' will be without Lybushkin for an indefinite amount of time after it was announced he was hurt after blocking a shot in Buffalo's overtime loss to Tampa Bay their last time out. The 28-year-old had been playing his usual stay-at-home hockey that we have come to expect, posting an assist, 18 PIMs and eight SOG through his first 17 games prior to the injury averaging only 15:24 ATOI in a bottom-pairing role.

Anderson stopped 41 of 44 shots (.932 SV%) in his previous start but unfortunately took the loss to the high-flying New Jersey Devils. The league's oldest active player has stood strong this season with his .917 SV%, 2.76 GAA and 4-4-0 record. He takes on the Detroit Red Wings who lost in their previous contest 4-2 to Toronto but have won four of their last five games.

John Marino is considered day-to-day after not practising Wednesday (upper body).

Marino has played in all 23 Devils' games this season and will be a massive blow if he is forced to miss time due to an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old has been a revelation in his first season with New Jersey, with two goals, six assists and a +15 plus/minus through 23 games.

Samsonov has not played since Nov. 5th after suffering a knee injury which caused him to prematurely leave after stopping 13 of 14 shots (.929 SV%) in a win over Boston. The 25-year-old first-year Maple Leaf will be welcomed back with open arms as he has a 6-2-0 record, .921 SV% and 2.23 GAA. He takes on the San Jose Sharks, who won 4-0 their last time out but rank 27th in the NHL in shots per game (29.8).

The 35-year-old veteran has solid numbers despite his 3-5-0 record as shown by his .919 SV% and 2.51 GAA. He takes on the New York Rangers who find themselves in the middle of a three-game losing skid.

Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick stopped 36 of 39 shots (.923 SV%) as he was the unlucky overtime loser vs. Ottawa his previous time out. The 36-year-old American has struggled this season as shown by his 3.07 GAA, .897 SV% and 7-6-2 record. He will battle the Seattle Kraken Tuesday who are 2nd in the Pacific Division and are winners of five straight.

Georgiev will start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Georgiev stopped 41 of 42 shots (.976 SV%) to pick up his sixth win in seven starts as he beat Dallas at home in his last time game. The 26-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season in his first year with the Avalanche as shown by his being second in the NHL in SV% (.933), fifth in GAA (2.29) and has a 10-3-1 record. He takes on the Winnipeg Jets, who have won three of their last four contests.

Alexandar Georgiev
Kochetkov will start Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Kochetkov allowed three goals on 41 shots but was the unlucky overtime loser for his fourth straight defeat as he took on Boston in his previous start. The 23-year-old rookie has played well in limited starts despite what his 2-1-3 record may show, posting a .913 SV% and 2.33 GAA. He takes on the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are ninth in the NHL in both goals per game (3.45) and shots per game (33.0).

Bobrovsky will start Tuesday in Calgary.

Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 23 shots (.783 SV%) for his fifth loss in seven starts as he was downed by Columbus his last time out. The 34-year-old has fought the puck all season as shown by his 3.62 GAA, .888 SV% and 4-5-1 record. He faces the Calgary Flames, who find themselves in the middle of a three-game losing streak but still ranking fourth in the NHL in shots on goal (34.8).
