Connor Hellebuyck will start Friday vs. Dallas.

Hellebuyck allowed six goals on 39 shots (.846 SV%) in his worst start of the season, a loss vs. Minnesota. He has been great this season as shown by his .928 SV%, 2.35 GAA and 8-5-1 record. He will take on the Dallas Stars who have gotten at least a point in seven straight games.

Kyle Palmieri remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will not play vs. Columbus.

Palmieri missed the Islanders' previous game due to an upper-body and did not make the trip to Columbus Friday. The 31-year-old has six goals and three assists on 37 SOG through 20 games prior to the injury. He remains day-to-day.

Jordan Binnington was the first goalie off the ice at the Blues' morning skate.

Binnington allowed six goals on 32 shots (.812 SV%) as he snapped a six-game winning streak in a loss to Buffalo his last time out. The 29-year-old has been solid this season, with a 9-6-0 record and .905 SV% as well as 2.98 GAA. He takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning who lost 5-3 Monday snapping a four-game winning streak.

Sorokin was perfect in his previous start, stopping 49 of 49 shots in the best start of his already impressive career vs. Edmonton. He takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets who rank 21st in goals for (2.95) and 23rd in shots per game (30.0).

Anton Stralman will draw back into Boston's lineup Friday vs. Carolina.

Stralman will be in the Bruins' lineup Friday as he takes the spot of Jakub Zboril. The veteran defenseman is currently sitting on 937 career games played after the seven games and zero points he has so far in 2022-23. He will be looking to grab his first point of the season and improve on his -3 plus/minus rating.

Oettinger allowed four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%) and still took the win over Chicago his last time out despite the lacklustre performance. The 23-year-old is a Vezina frontrunner due to his 8-2-2 record, .924 SV% and 2.32 GAA. He takes on the Winnepeg Jets who will be hoping to bounce back after getting crumbled 6-1 vs. Minnesota in their previous contest.

Ullmark stopped 32 of 35 shots (.914 SV%) as he earned his fifth straight victory his last time out vs. Tampa Bay. Ullmark has been a freak this season, leading all NHL netminders in wins with his 13-1-0 record, SV% (.935 SV%) and GAA (1.96). He takes on the struggling Carolina Hurricanes who are in the middle of a four-game skid.

Darcy Kuemper will start Friday vs. Calgary.

Kuemper stopped 21 of 23 shots (.913 SV%) beating Philadelphia in his previous start. He has been decent in his first season with Washington, posting a 6-9-1 record along with a .908 SV% and 2.77 GAA. He takes on the Calgary Flames who rank third in the NHL in shots per game with 35.7.

Niemelainen had failed to pick up a point in his first 15 games with the Oilers and will head to Bakersfield (AHL) in a corresponding move that saw Philip Broberg get called up. He will hope to be back in the NHL sooner rather than later so that he can add to his one point in 35 career NHL GP.

Talbot stopped 32 of 35 shots (.914 SV%) in a loss to Vegas his previous time between the pipes. It has been a struggle to get wins so far this season for Talbot as shown by his 1-5-0 record with .910 SV% and 2.83 GAA. He takes on the Anaheim Ducks who picked up their first regulation win of the season last game in their 20th appearance.

Anderson stopped 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) to help the Sabres easily top Montreal 7-2 in his previous start. The league's oldest player has been impressive this season with a 4-3-0 record alongside his .914 SV% and 2.71 GAA. He faces off against the surging New Jersey Devils who lost their last time out to snap a 13-game winning streak.

Kyle Okposo will return to the Sabres' lineup Friday (lower body)

Okposo has not played since Nov.10th due to a lower-body injury but will return Friday as Buffalo takes on New Jersey. The 16-year-veteran has been having a solid season prior to the injury with one goal and nine points through 14 games played.

Kotchtkov allowed three goals on 26 shots (.885 SV%) in a surprise loss to Arizona his previous time out. He takes the crease for Carolina's fourth straight game and has done admirably filling in for Frederik Andersen, posting a 2-1-2 record with a 2.22 GAA and .908 SV%. He draws the tough task of the Boston Bruins who rank first in the NHL with 4.05 goals per game.

Joonas Korpisalo will start vs. the New York Islanders.

Korpisalo stopped 26 of 28 shots (.929 SV%) in a win over Montreal his last time out. The 28-year-old has been mediocre by definition with his 3-3-1 record, his .901 SV% and 3.86 GAA. He will take on the New York Islanders who have won two straight and four out of their last six games.
