Sorokin stopped 30 of 32 shots (.938 SV%) in a win over Toronto his previous time out. The 27-year-old has been incredible this season, posting a .926 SV% and 2.37 GAA along with his 8-5-0 record. He takes on the Edmonton Oilers who have lost three of their last five games but rank sixth in the NHL with 3.47 goals per game.
Greenway has been in and out of the lineup this season due to injury only playing a total of 17:36 TOI across both games while collecting a -2 plus/minus and zero points. He returns from an upper-body injury looking to build off the 112 career NHL points he has gotten over six NHL seasons.
Wotherspoon had one assist and eight PIMs along with a -2 plus/minus rating through 13 games with Utica (AHL) prior to being called up Wednesday. The 29-year-old has played in 30 career NHL games prior to this season, picking up five assists and a -8 plus/minus.

Karlstrom will be called up for the first time this season after scoring four goals and an assist through 15 games with the Texas Stars of the AHL. He will make his season debut if slotted into the lineup and has three total career NHL games before this year, collecting zero points in limited minutes.
Hollowell has enjoyed a strong campaign with the Marlies (AHL) so far this season with nine assists and six PIM through 11 games played. It will be his second call-up of the year having not cracked the NHL roster his last time up. He will make his NHL debut Wednesday vs. New Jersey.
Sheahan was assigned to Rochester of the AHL after failing to pick up any points in two games for Buffalo, with four PIMs while averaging only 8:19 TOI. He heads back to Rochester (AHL) where he had three assists in six games prior to being called up to Buffalo previously.
Englund will head back down to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) after picking up one assist through four games along with a -1 plus/minus. He heads back to the AHL where he had a goal and two assists along with 38 PIMs in 12 games prior to his previous promotion.
Blidh was demoted to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) after failing to pick up a point across four games while only averaging 5:37 TOI in a fourth-line role. He heads back to the Eagles where he had four goals and 24 PIMs in 12 games prior to his promotion.
Megna will head to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) after failing to pick up a point in eight games with the Avalanche while putting up a -1 plus/minus. Prior to his promotion to the Avalanche, he had three goals and three assists through nine games in the AHL.
Sturm had been enjoying a strong 2022-23 prior to the announcement Tuesday that he is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, scoring six goals and eight points off 33 SOG through his first 20 games to start the season.
Reimer did not play in the Sharks' game Monday as he yielded the net to Kappo Kahkonen. It was announced Tuesday that he is suffering from a lower-body injury and will not travel with the team to Seattle. The 34-year-old netminder is considered day-to-day after a tough start to the season which saw him post a 5-7-2 record with a 2.92 GAA and .906 SV%.
