The Maple Leafs COVID-19 protocol list continues to grow, as they now have a total of eight players out. Liljegren will most likely miss Saturday's game vs. the Senators.

Prow is a 29-year-old veteran, who has played in 243 career AHL games, four ECHL games and 26 games in Germany before getting ready to make his NHL debut tonight. He will replace Colin Miller (undisclosed) on the Sabres blueline.

Miller suffered an undisclosed injury in Tuesday's practice session and will not be available for Wednesday's game. Ethan Prow is expected to make his NHL debut with Miller out.

Stevens was a fifth-round pick in 2016 and has spent the first four years of his professional career in the AHL. He has picked up three goals and nine assists (12 points) in 20 AHL games this season.

Bitten was a third-round pick of the Canadiens in 2016 but was traded to Minnesota in 2018. He has picked up just eight points (3G / 5A) in 23 AHL games with Iowa this season.

Kapanen is the latest Penguin to join COVID-19 protocol, making him the eighth player since Boxing Day. The Penguins aren't scheduled to play until Sunday, but at this rate, there's a pretty good chance that it's postponed.

Jacob Bryson was added to the COVID-19 protocol list this morning, so he'll suit up for his second straight game on Wednesday. Fitzgerald had one assist and two shots on goal in 16:42 TOI in Pittsburgh on December 17th.

Tuch was scheduled to make his Sabres debut before the Christmas break but the games were postponed, so it had to wait until tonight. Tuch will start his Sabres career on the top line with Tage Thompson and JJ Peterka and will also serve as the net-front presence on the top power-play unit.

The Sabres have quite a few players in COVID-19 protocol and Bryson is the latest to be added. With Bryson out, the Sabres have added Casey Fitzgerald and Ethan Prow to the active roster and both are expected to play on Wednesday.

Mamin has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury but is set to play Wednesday vs. the Rangers. Mamin has three goals and two assists (five points) in 11 games this season.

Marchment has been out since November 8th but is set to return to the lineup on Wednesday. Marchment, who has seven points (1G / 6A) in 10 games this season, will skate on the third line with Anton Lundell and Maxim Mamin.

Huberdeau tested out of COVID-19 protocol and will be available for Wednesday's game vs. the Rangers. With Huberdeau in, the Panthers are nearly at 100 percent. He has 33 points (10G / 23A) in 29 games this season.
