The 30-year-old Jets' backup has been very solid when called upon this season, with his 9-4-0 record, 2.52 GAA and .911 SV%. Binnington stopped 34 of 36 shots (.944 SV%) for his second-straight win as he beat Florida in his previous start. The 29-year-old has been horrendous this season, but still has a respectable 20-18-3 record, 3.28 GAA and .892 SV%. He will face the New Jersey Devils, who have won four of their last five games and are fourth in the NHL in shots per game (34.1).

The 34-year-old has really picked it up as of late, which has improved his season numbers to 15-14-2, .905 SV% and 3.05 GAA. He takes on the Washington Capitals, who have lost their last two games and are 20th in the NHL in goals per game (3.04).

Maatta has five goals, 12 assists, 37 SOG, 10 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 49 games in his first season in Detroit and has now signed a two-year contract extension worth $6.0 million ($3.0M AAV).

Kuemper allowed three goals on 30 shots (.900 SV%) for his third loss in five games as he was beaten by Carolina in his previous start. The 32-year-old may have a near .500 record with his 16-15-4 line but has played very well most nights resulting in a 2.59 GAA and .915 SV%. He takes on the Florida Panthers, who lost their previous game 6-2 vs. St. Louis but are 1st in the NHL in shots per game (36.1).

Holden has a goal, nine assists, 52 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 47 games played but has been placed on the injured reserve Thursday with an upper-body injury. The 35-year-old has failed to reach 80 games played in his last seven seasons.
