This is a huge blow for the Islanders blueline, as Pulock is the team leader in ice-time (21:07). Pulock being out one month opens the door for Sebastian Aho to play big minutes, including on PP1. In two games this season, Aho has played 19:03 ATOI at even-strength and 4:59 on the PP.

The forward-needy Golden Knights will likely plug Brooks right into their lineup on Thursday. Vegas will be Brooks' third team of the season, after previously being claimed from the Maple Leafs. He has one assist in four games this season.

Arvidsson, who will be playing for the first time since October 30th, will skate on the top line and top power-play unit in his return to the lineup. He registered five points (2G / 3A) in eight games earlier in the season.

Aube-Kubel was claimed off of waivers from the Flyers and is set to make his debut in Vancouver. Aube-Kubel will skate on the third line with Alex Newhook and Tyson Jost and is expected to see time on PP1.

Norlinder was a third-round pick of the Canadiens in 2019 and is set to make his debut after just three games in North America. The 21-year-old defenseman skated with David Savard in Wednesday's practice.

Brown suffered a dislocated thumb vs. the Flames on Tuesday and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. Oskar Lindblom will replace him in the lineup on Thursday.

Boldy suffered a fractured ankle in early October and is set to make his season debut with Iowa. The 20-year-old had 18 points (6G / 12A) in 14 AHL games last season. If he has that kind of production again, expect him to make a quick return to Minnesota.

Soucy has been in the lineup for four straight games but will be replaced by Haydn Fleury vs. the Blackhawks.

Fleury has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Carson Soucy in the lineup vs. Chicago. Fleury has scored two goals on 13 shots in eight games this season.

Barkov suffered a lower-body injury on a knee-on-knee collision with Scott Mayfield on Tuesday. Barkov will not need surgery but is still expected to miss a couple of weeks. With Barkov out, Sam Bennett was on the top line with Jonathan Huberdeau and Anthony Duclair, while Anton Lundell moved up to the second line in Wednesday's practice.

Zetterlund has scored three goals with six assists (nine points) in 10 games with Utica (AHL). This is the first call-up for Zetterlund, who could make his NHL debut on Thursday.
