Smith (head) was released from the hospital to travel with the team to Philadelphia.
Smith was taken to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for evaluation after taking a shot off his helmet on Sunday. Smith was released and travelled with the team to Philadelphia but will likely be replaced by Ian Cole in the lineup on Monday.
Burroughs is expected to miss some time with an undisclosed injury.
According to Canucks' head coach Bruce Boudreau, Burrough's injury "doesn't look good." Expect a more detailed update in the coming days after Burroughs is re-evaluated. Brad Hunt should replace him in the lineup on Monday.

Forbort was a healthy scratch on Saturday night but will be back in the lineup on Monday afternoon. It's unclear who he will replace, but it will most likely be Connor Clifton.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
