With all the injuries to the Maple Leafs’ blueline, Sandin has become a regular in the lineup but will be replaced by Timothy Liljegren on Tuesday. Sandin has picked up just one assist and seven shots while playing just 14:00 ATOI in his last 14 games.
Liljegren was a healthy scratch vs. the Canucks on Saturday but will replace Rasmus Sandin in the lineup in San Jose. Liljegren is expected to be on the third pair and second power-play unit inn his 10th game of the season. He has one assist in the first nine.

He is 3-0-1 with a 2.40 GAA and .919 SV% in his first four starts with the Maple Leafs. He stopped 22 of 24 shots in a 3-2 OT win in San Jose when he was a member of the Los Angeles Kings.
Bernier stopped 36 of 39 shots in the Red Wings shootout loss in Ottawa on Saturday. Bernier finished the month of February at 3-8-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .911 SV%. Tonight he'll face a Colorado team that is on a six-game winning streak while averaging 2.50 goals for and 1.33 goals against per game.
Jones stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Sharks shutout win over the Penguins on Saturday. Jones is playing terrific right now, having won two straight and three of his last five while posting a 1.40 GAA, .951 SV% and two shutouts. Tonight he takes on a Maple Leafs team that has won four of their last five (4-1-0) while scoring 20 goals (4.00 GF/gm).
Lehner allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Golden Knights win over the Sabres last Friday. It was an extremely strong debut for Lehner, who will make his second start tonight vs. the Devils. New Jersey has played well recently, winning four of their last six (4-0-2) but they've scored just 2.50 goals per game in that span.
Karlsson has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but will play in Toronto on Tuesday. Karlsson has 10 points (5G / 5A) in 56 games this season.

The Oilers will get Yamamoto back much earlier than his original 2-to-3 week timetable. Yamamoto missed just three games with an ankle injury but will be back on a line with Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Saros stopped all four shots that he faced after replacing Pekka Rinne in the Predators blowout loss to the Oilers last night. Prior to Monday, Saros had started four straight while going 3-1-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .932 SV%. On Tuesday, Saros will face a Wild team that has gone 5-1-1 while averaging 4.29 goals for and 2.71 goals against in their last seven games.
Rinne allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Predators' loss in Chicago on February 21st. Juuse Saros started the last four games but Rinne gets the nod on the front-end of a back-to-back. Rinne has gone 10-7-3 with a 3.02 GAA, .896 SV% and two shutouts on home ice this season. In his first start vs. the Oilers, Rinne allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 4-2 loss (Jan.14).
Hutchinson will make his first start with the Avalanche after Pavel Francouz started the last seven straight games. Head coach Jared Bednar will use tonight's easy matchup to get Francouz a breather but he should start the remaining three games of the week. Hutchinson struggled with the Maple Leafs, going 4-9-1 with a 3.66 GAA and .886 SV%, but stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 4-1 win in his only start vs. the Red Wings (Dec.21).

Tonight he'll face the Panthers for the second time this season--he stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 4-2 win in Florida back in mid-December.
