Girgensons suffered an lower-body injury on Saturday and being moved to IR means that he will miss at least three games. Peyton Krebs (COVID-19 protocol) will replace him in the lineup on Monday.

Luukkonen suffered a lower-body injury last Tuesday and was listed as week-to-week, so moving him to IR created a roster spot for reinforcements. He'll be eligible to be activated whenever he is healthy.



Greiss will likely miss one or two games while in COVID-19 protocol, so look for Alex Nedeljkovic to start Monday afternoon and Calvin Rickard to serve as his backup.


With Miller going on IR, Mattias Samuelsson was recalled from Rochester (AHL) and will replace him in the lineup on Monday afternoon. Miller will miss at least one week.

Samuelsson has scored two goals with 13 assists (15 points) in 20 AHL games this season. Monday will be his season debut but has appeared in 12 NHL games since being drafted in the second round in 2018.

Bogosian recently returned to the Lightning lineup but suffered a lower-body injury vs. the Stars on Saturday. Bogosian will be out until late January/early February.


Necas is now in danger of missing at least one or two games. This is poor timing for Necas, who was just starting to heat up, posting nine points (4G / 5A) in his last 13 games.


Anderson has been out since December 2nd but is expected to play Monday in Arizona. Anderson, who will likely return to a line with Christian Dvorak, has 13 points (7G / 6A) in 25 games this season.

Rust missed the last four games while in COVID-19 protocol but may play Monday in Vegas. Rust was one of the hottest players in the NHL before landing in protocol, scoring goals in four straight games, totalling 12 points (8G / 4A) in that span.

Zucker has been out since December 19th but was on the ice for Sunday's practice and will be a game-time decision for Monday's game in Vegas. Zucker skated on a line with Brian Boyle and Kasperi Kapanen in the session and has 11 points (4G / 7A) in 30 games this season.

Parayko missed two games while in COVID-19 protocol but is set to play Monday vs. Nashville. Parayko is averaging 24:10 TOI/gm and has accumulated 16 points (4G / 12A) in 36 games this season.

Schenn missed two games while in COVID-19 protocol but will play Monday vs. the Predators. Schenn had one goal and one assist in three games after returning to the lineup from an upper-body injury.

Tarasenko has missed the last four games while in COVID-19 protocol but will play Monday. Tarasenko, who has 15 points (7G / 8A) in his last 10 games, will likely be reunited with Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou.

McCabe missed three games while in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to play Monday in Seattle. McCabe has scored three goals with three assists while posting a minus-14 rating in 32 games this season.
