Price is expected to start Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Price stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Canadiens' win in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Cayden Primeau started the following night, so Price is well-rested coming into this superb matchup with the Red Wings. He has won three straight while stopping 83 of the 87 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. He is a must-start and arguably the best option on a busy Saturday slate.

Carey Price
Subban will start Friday in Dallas.

Subban allowed five goals on 25 shots in the Golden Knights loss to the Rangers on Sunday. With Marc-Andre Fleury starting last night, Subban will start tonight in Dallas. He has lost two straight and is 3-4-2 with a 2.99 GAA and .901 SV% on the road this season. He allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 4-2 loss in his first game vs. the Stars.

Malcolm Subban
Hischier (illness) will return to the Devils lineup on Friday.

Hischier missed the last three games with an illness but will play Friday in Colorado. Hischier will be back on the Devils' top-line between Taylor Hall and Kyle Palmieri and will also skate on the top power-play unit. He was heating up before getting sick, scoring three goals with six assists (nine points) in his last 11 games.

Nico Hischier
Domingue will start Friday in Colorado.

Domingue surrendered six goals on 37 shots in the Devils loss in Nashville last Saturday. Domingue has lost three in a row while giving up 14 goals on just 81 shots (.827 SV%). He has struggled since being called-up and draws a terrible matchup tonight in Colorado--the Avalanche have won six of their last seven while scoring 4.29 goals per game.

Louis Domingue
Nilsson will start Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Nilsson surrendered three goals on 29 shots in the Senators' loss in Montreal on Wednesday. Nilsson has gone 1-4-1 with a 3.88 GAA and .871 SV% in his last six outings but will remain between the pipes Saturday with Craig Anderson still out. Today he faces a Blue Jackets team that has lost five of their last six while scoring just 1.67 goals per game.

Anders Nilsson
Francouz will start Thursday vs. the Devils.

Francouz allowed one goal on 33 shots in Colorado's win over the Flyers on Wednesday. Philipp Grubauer is available tonight but they will start Francouz for the fifth straight game. Francouz has won four of his last five starts (4-0-1) while posting an impressive 2.11 GAA and .937 SV%. He has settled into the NHL very nicely and is a terrific start against a New Jersey team that has lost six in a row.

Pavel Francouz
Mantha (lower-body) has been medically cleared to play Saturday.

Mantha has missed the last eight games with lower-body injury but could play Saturday in Montreal. Mantha skated again on Friday and told reporters that he's been medically cleared but needs clearance from GM Steve Yzerman. The Red Wings went 1-7-0 and scored only 1.63 goals per game without Mantha.

Anthony Mantha
The Red Wings have recalled Madison Bowey from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Bowey was recently sent back to the Griffins, where he had one assist in one game, but has been recalled because Jonathan Ericsson was hurt on Thursday night. Bowey has posted reasonable offensive numbers this season, ranking eighth on the team in points (8) but has struggled a bit on the defensive side.

Madison Bowey
Francouz was the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate.

He has settled into the NHL very nicely and and is a terrific start against a New Jersey team that has lost six in a row.

Pavel Francouz
Bishop will start Friday vs. the Golden Knights.

Bishop stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Stars' shutout win over the Devils on Tuesday. Bishop has not allowed more than two goals in a game in six straight starts and currently sits third in the NHL in GAA (2.03) and SV% (.934). Bishop is outstanding and tonight the Stars host a Vegas team that has lost three of their last four and played last night in St. Louis.

Ben Bishop
DeMelo is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a broken finger.

DeMelo broke his finger late in Wednesday's game in Montreal and will be out until early-January. This is a huge blow for the Senators, who lose arguably their most consistent/reliable defenseman of 2019-20. Erik Brannstom could be summoned from the AHL to replace DeMelo.
