Stewart will make his Flyers debut on Tuesday.

Stewart, who signed a one-year deal with the Flyers this morning, will replace Connor Bunnaman on the Flyers fourth line in Calgary. The last time that Stewart was in the NHL, he had one goal and two assists (three points) in seven games with Calgary.

Chris Stewart
Campbell was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Campbell allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Kings win over the Predators on Saturday. Campbell has won both of his starts despite allowing a combined seven goals on 61 shots (.885 SV%). Jonathan Quick continues to struggle, so Campbell could continue to carve out a larger role in the Kings’ crease. Campbell draws a tough home matchup with the 5-1-0 Hurricanes in-town.

Jack Campbell
Price will start Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Price allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Canadiens win over the Blues on Saturday. Price has surrendered at least three goals in all four of his starts this season, posting a 3.38 GAA and .901 SV% in his first four starts. The veteran netminder was 1-2-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .907 SV% in three starts against the Lightning a season ago.

Carey Price
McCann is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

McCann missed Monday’s practice with a lower-body injury and head coach Mike Sullivan called him “day-to-day” after the session. The injury bug continues to bite the Penguins, who could be without McCann, Evgeni Malkin, Alex Galchenyuk, Nick Bjugstad and Bryan Rust on Thursday.

Jared McCann
Welinski cleared waivers and has been assigned to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Welinski started the season on IR with a lower-body injury but was activated and waived on Monday. The 26-year-old had 19 points (8G / 11A) in 27 AHL games with San Diego (AHL) last year. Waiving Welinski and sending him down opened up the cap-space and roster spot for the Flyers to sign Chris Stewart.

Andy Welinski
Rittich will start Tuesday vs. the Flyers.

Rittich gave up six goals on 30 shots in the Flames’ loss in Vegas on Saturday. Cam Talbot made his Flames debut in a loss to the Sharks on Sunday, so they will come back to Rittich on Tuesday. The 27-year-old netminder is 1-0-1 with a 2.00 GAA, .946 SV% and one shutout in two starts in Calgary so far.

David Rittich
Gustafsson will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Gustafsson, 19, was a second-round pick (No.60 overall) in 2018 and will replace Mark Letestu in the lineup on Tuesday. Gustafsson, who had 12 points (2G / 10A) in 36 games with HV71 Jonkoping of the Swedish Hockey League last year, will skate with Gabriel Bourque and Mason Appleton.

David Gustafsson
Mayhew will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Mayhew was an undrafted free agent who has spent the last two seasons with Iowa (AHL) after finishing up four years at Ferris State University. The 26-year-old had three goals and three assists in four AHL games before being called up. He will replace Kevin Fiala in the lineup in Toronto.

Gerald Mayhew
Hellebuyck will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Jets win in Chicago on Saturday. After a season-opening loss in New York, Hellebuyck has won three in a row while stopping 102 of the 107 shots (.953 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he faces a Coyotes team that is 1-2-1 and is averaging the least goals per game (1.75) in the NHL right now.

Connor Hellebuyck
Dubnyk will start Tuesday in Toronto.

Dubnyk was yanked after allowing five goals on 23 shots in the Wild’s 7-4 loss to the Penguins on Saturday. Alex Stalock earned the Wild’s first win in Ottawa on Monday afternoon but it looks like they’ll go back to Dubnyk in Toronto. He is 0-4-0 with a 4.56 GAA and .862 SV% in his first four starts and should be left on the bench against a Maple Leafs team that is averaging 4.00 goals per game.

Devan Dubnyk
Vasilevskiy will start Tuesday in Montreal.

Vasilevskiy surrendered three goals on 28 shots in the Lightning’s win in Toronto last Thursday. Curtis McElhinney has started two of the last three games, so there’s no surprise that they will go with Vasilevskiy in Montreal. The 25-year-old has won two of his first three starts and was 3-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout vs. the Canadiens last season.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Dubnyk will likely start Tuesday in Toronto.
