Because Zajac was able to drive from New Jersey after Wednesday's trade, quarantine is not required, so he'll immediately make his Islanders debut. It's unclear where he will play in his first game with his new team but his addition could lead to J-G Pageau moving to the wing.

Because Palmieri was able to drive from New Jersey after Wednesday's trade, quarantine is not required, so he'll immediately make his Islanders debut. It's unclear where he will play in his first game with his new team but you have to think the Islanders envision him as a replacement for Anders Lee on the top line and PP1.

McAvoy has returned to Boston to receive treatment on his upper-body injury, so he'll miss at least the three remaining games of their current road trip. With McAvoy out, Steven Kampfer will remain in the lineup and see some PP2 time.

Gagner has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury but will likely replace Valtteri Filppula in the Red Wings' bottom-6 on Thursday. Gagner has scored four goals with five assists in 28 games this season.

Bernier has been out since March 18th but could start tonight vs. the Predators. Head coach Jeff Blashill said he's available for tonight's game but would not commit to him playing. Bernier has been excellent this season, posting a .918 SV% in 16 games and is one of the Red Wings' key trade pieces, so they may be cautious with him.

Sprong has one goal and three assists in his last 11 games and will be replaced by Daniel Carr in the lineup on Thursday.

Carr has only appeared in three NHL games this season, picking up one assist. He'll dress in his fourth game, replacing Daniel Sprong and will likely skate on the third line with Lars Eller.

Jenner is expected to miss six weeks after breaking his finger on Tuesday. With Jenner out on Thursday, Eric Robinson is expected to get a look in the Blue Jackets' top-6.

Fabbro was forced to leave Tuesday's game after playing just 4:00 TOI and did not return. With Fabbro out, the Predators will likely have to turn to their taxi squad for a No.6 defenseman.

Arvidsson missed Tuesday's game in Detroit but he's expected to play in the rematch on Thursday. Arvidsson has scored five goals with 13 assists (18 points) in 39 games this season and will likely skate on the top line with Ryan Johansen if he ends up playing.
