Dal Colle is dealing with an undisclosed injury that he suffered while blocking a shot on Tuesday. With Dal Colle out for the second straight game, Kieffer Bellows could remain in the lineup.

Cozens has not played since January 31st but has returned from COVID-19 "flying" according to the Sabres' head coach Ralph Krueger. Cozens will most likely return to a top-6 role next to Eric Staal and comes in with two goals and one assist in his first nine career NHL games.

Hischier is available to make his season debut on Saturday but head coach Lindy Ruff would not confirm whether or not he will play. If he does play, expect Hischier to replace either Nathan Bastian or Nick Merkley and he could be eased into a bottom-6 role, since it's his first game since March 10th of last year.

Zajac has not played since February 28th but will play Saturday vs. the Sabres. Because the Devils did not have a full practice on Friday, it's unclear who Zajac will replace or who he will skate with but he will suit up in his 999th career NHL game.

David Savard is out with a non-COVID-19 related illness, so Carlsson will draw in for his first game of the season vs. the Predators. The 24-year-old, former first-round pick had three assists in 23 career NHL games.

Savard will miss Saturday's game vs. the Predators due to a non-COVID-19 related illness. With Savard out, Gabriel Carlsson will draw into the lineup for his season debut.

Talbot was on the ice for Friday's practice but head coach Dean Evason said he'll need another before he starts for the Wild. With Talbot still not ready, Kaapo Kahkonen will continue to start and Dereck Baribeau will backup in Anaheim.

Makar has missed the first two games since the Avalanche returned from a COVID-19 related break but will be a game-time decision on Saturday. Makar took part in practice on Friday, so it seems likely that he'll play in Lake Tahoe.

Calvert has been sidelined by a head injury since January 24th but is expected to play Saturday against the Golden Knights. Calvert, who plays in a checking role in the Colorado bottom-6, has just one assist in six games this season.

Jost has come off of the COVID-19 reserve list but skated as a 13th forward in Friday's practice, so it's unclear whether or not he will play on Saturday.
