Rick Nash has announced his retirement from the NHL.

“Due to unresolved issues/symptoms from the concussion sustained last March, Rick Nash will be forced to retire from the game of hockey,” agent Joe Resnick said in a statement on Twitter. Nash finishes his career with 437 goals and 368 assists (805 points) in 1060 regular season games with the Blue Jackets, Rangers and Bruins.

Rick Nash
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick stopped all 16 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win over the Oilers last Saturday. Quick was given a breather on Monday, so look for him to start Thursday vs. the Senators. He has been a below-average fantasy option this season but has a solid matchup tonight vs. a Senators team that played last night.

Jonathan Quick
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Predators win in Chicago last night. Rinne was scheduled to get the night off but Juuse Saros is not available due to illness, so Rinne will start for the second night in a row and for the third time in four days. Rinne is 6-5-2 with a 2.53 GAA, .918 SV% and one shutout on the road.

Pekka Rinne
Jones will start Thursday in Vegas.

Jones stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Sharks win over the Kings on Monday. Jones was given Tuesday night off, keeping him fresh for tonight’s game in Vegas. Jones has a five-game winning streak going right now, despite posting a pedestrian 2.61 GAA and .900 SV%. He is a risky road option against Marc-Andre Fleury, who is riding a five-game winning streak of his own.

Martin Jones
Kuemper will start Thursday in Vancouver.

Kuemper stopped all 23 shots that he faced in the Coyotes 5-0 shutout win over the Rangers on Sunday. The win snapped Kuemper’s three-game losing streak and moved him to 6-11-3 on the season. As well as he played on the weekend, Kuemper is 3-6-1 with a 3.10 GAA and .902 SV% on the road this season and should remain on your bench or the waiver wire tonight.

Darcy Kuemper
Markstrom will start Thursday vs. the Coyotes.

Markstrom allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Canucks loss in Toronto last Saturday. Markstrom won nine of 10 from Dec.6-Jan.2 but has since lost two in a row. However, he has a good opportunity to get back on track tonight vs. the Coyotes—Markstrom enters play at 9-5-1 with a 2.66 GAA and .914 SV% on home-ice this season.

Jacob Markstrom
Nilsson will start Thursday in Los Angeles.

Nilsson stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Canucks win in Anaheim last night. Nilsson recorded his first win with Ottawa and has now stopped 65 of 72 shots (.903 SV%) since being acquired by the Senators. Tonight he starts on no rest against a Kings team that has won six of their last 10 games (6-4-0).

Anders Nilsson
Reimer will start Thursday in Edmonton.

Reimer made 14 saves on 15 shots after replacing Roberto Luongo in the Panthers loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Reimer has gone 4-3-1 with a 3.19 GAA and .885 SV% on the road this season, making him a risky start against Connor McDavid and the Oilers. Edmonton enters the game at 10-9-1 on home-ice this season.
