Bailey has been terrific in the AHL this season, ranking third on the Utica Comets in points with 40 (24G / 16A) in 45 games. Bailey will replace Tim Schaller on the Canucks fourth line.

MacEwen sat as a healthy scratch on Saturday but will replace Brock Boeser, who is on IR with an upper-body injury. MacEwen has one goal and one assist in nine NHL games this season.

Bennett was sick this morning and missed the game-day skate, so look for Zac Rinaldo to replace him on the fourth line if Bennett can't play.

Hamonic was forced to leave Saturday's game in Vancouver and will miss tonight's game with an undisclosed injury. With Hamonic out, Brandon Davidson will draw back into the Flames lineup and Alexander Yelesin was recalled to serve as the seventh defenseman.

McDavid was on the ice briefly this morning but left the practice session early. McDavid called it a "charley horse" and a "bruise" and said he'll test it during the morning skate/ Head coach Dave Tippett said there's no guarantee that McDavid plays.

Markstrom allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Canucks loss to the Flames on Saturday. Markstrom has been excellent through most of the season but has struggled recently. He is on a three-game losing streak while allowing a combined 13 goals on 110 shots (.882 SV%). Tonight he'll try to get back on track vs. the Predators--he stopped 45 of 48 shots in a 6-3 win in his first start vs. Nashville (Nov.21).

Rittich allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flames win in Vancouver on Saturday. The victory snapped a brief two-game losing skid for Rittich, who will face the Sharks for the second time in a week on Monday. He allowed three goals on 26 shots in a 3-1 loss to San Jose last Tuesday and is 12-8-2 with a 2.75 GAA and .915 SV% on the road this season.

Wolanin has missed the first four and a half months of the season after suffering a shoulder injury in training camp. He'll go back to the AHL to get some games in before likely returning to the Senators for the final few months of the 2020 campaign. He had 31 points (7G / 24A) in 40 AHL games a season ago.

Robinson was a healthy scratch on Saturday and with a need for a defenseman, Robinson heads back to the AHL to make room for Alexander Yelesin to be recalled. He had one goal in five games with the Flames during his call-up.

Yelesin has scored one goal with three assists (four points) in 33 AHL games this season. With Mark Giordano on IR and Travis Hamonic getting hurt in Vancouver on Saturday, Yelesin has been recalled and could make his NHL debut on Monday.

Karlsson missed the last eight games with a broken finger but is expected to play tomorrow in Minnesota. At Monday's practice, Karlsson centred the Golden Knights' third line and top power-play. He returns with 10 goals and 24 assists (34 points) in 49 games this season.

Lauzon was suspended for two games but goes back to the AHL with Brandon Carlo back from a personal matter. The 22-year-old has 13 points (1G / 12A) in 45 AHL games this season.

Kuhlman played in nine straight games with the Bruins but heads back to the AHL with Danton Heinen returning to the lineup on Sunday. Kuhlman scored one goal with four assists (five points) in those nine games. The 24-year-old has five points (4G / 1A) in six AHL games this season.

Sundqvist has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but will travel on their upcoming road trip, however, it's unknown whether he will play.

Merzlikins allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Avalanche. Merzlikins actually lost a game. It happened. Still, it was a strong showing for the rookie netminder, who is 8-1-0 with a 1.12 GAA, .962 SV% and five shutouts in the last month. Tonight he faces a Lightning team that has gone 18-2-1 in his last 21 games, but Merzlikins is too hot to put on your bench right now.

Shesterkin stopped 42 of 43 shots in the Rangers win over the Kings on Monday. It was another outstanding outing from the rookie netminder, who is on a three-game winning streak while stopping 92 of the 98 shots (.939 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he'll look to defeat a Jets team that is on a five-game point streak (4-0-1) while averaging 4.00 goals for and 2.00 goals against per game.


The new deal will keep Nurse in Edmonton through the 2022 season. Nurse has scored four goals with 20 assists (24 points) in 55 games this season.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 22 shots in the Panthers' 3-2 loss in Philadelphia on Saturday. Bobrovsky has lost three in a row while giving up 10 goals on 96 shots (.896 SV%) but tonight he faces a Flyers team that he's had a lot of success against in his career. Since leaving the Flyers, Bob is 15-3-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .928 SV% in 19 career starts against them.
