Jones allowed one goal on 22 shots in the Sharks 2-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 5. jones has played very well in round 2, posting a .926 SV% while facing an average of 27 shots per game so far. In the two games played in Colorado, Jones is 1-1 while stopping 50 of the 54 shots (.926 SV%) that he faced.

Bishop was forced to leave Game 6 after being hit near the collarbone by a Colton Parayko slap-shot. Grubauer stopped 37 of 39 shots in Colorado’s 2-1 loss in San Jose in Game 5. The Avalanche and Sharks have alternated wins and losses in this series and the Avalanche will need that trend to continue if they’re going to stay alive and force a Game 7. Grubauer has stopped 59 of 62 shots (.952 SV%) in the two games at the Pepsi Center in this series.

Soderlund, 21, was a fourth-round pick (No.112 overall) in 2017, who had three goals and six assists (nine points) in 22 games with Skelleftea AIK of the Swedish Elite League.

Hakkarainen, 21, was a fifth-round pick (No.139 overall) in 2018 and just finished up his third season with the Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL), where he had 19 goals and 28 assists (47 points) in 42 games.

The Blue Jackets went with 11 forwards and seven defensemen in Game 5 but it looks like they will go back to the traditional 12F, 6D, with Alexandre Texier will replace Adam Clendening in Game 6.

Wennberg has appeared in four games in the second round but has averaged just 10:30 TOI and is expected to be replaced by Markus Hannikainen (undisclosed) on the fourth line in Game 6.

Texier was a healthy scratch in Game 5 but is expected to replace Adam Clendening in Game 6. The Blue Jackets will go back to 12 forwards and six defensemen with Texier skating on the fourth line with Brandon Dubinsky and Markus Hannikainen. The 19-year-old has two goals on eight shots with one assist in seven games this postseason.

Hannikainen is expected to make his 2019 playoffs debut and skate in his first game since March 24th. Hannikainen, who is expected to replace Alexander Wennberg on the fourth line, had four goals and three assists (seven points) in 44 games this season.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Blue Jackets 4-3 loss in Boston in Game 5. Bobrovsky has now given up four goals in back-to-back games and the Blue Jackets are on the ropes. Bobrovsky has gone 3-1 while allowing just nine goals on 147 shots (.939 SV%) in his four starts at Nationwide Arena in the postseason.
