Radil did not record an NHL point during his NHL debut but has posted solid numbers in the AHL and KHL. Radil will replace Antti Suomela on the Sharks fourth line.
Schmaltz was traded to Arizona on Sunday night and will make his debut in Minnesota on Tuesday. Schmaltz, who broke out in 2017-18 has just 11 points (2G / 9A) in 23 games this season. The 22-year-old is expected to take on a much larger role in Arizona, starting tonight when he skates on the top line with Alex Galchenyuk and Clayton Keller.
Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar announced that Barrie will not be available tonight but did not indicate what is ailing the offensive-defenseman. Consider Barrie as day-to-day until the Avalanche provides a more detailed update. Mark Barberio will replace him in the lineup.
Koskinen allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Oilers loss in Anaheim last Friday. Koskinen continues to outplay Cam Talbot and is now 4-2-1 with a 2.51 GAA, .917 SV% and one shutout in November. The 30-year-old Finnish-born netminder has been great at Rogers Place, going 2-0-0 with a 1.16 GAA and .963 SV%.
Perlini had 17 goals and 30 points last season but struggled in the first quarter of 2018-19. After being traded to Chicago on Sunday night, Perlini will make his debut on Tuesday. He is expected to start on the fourth line with Dylan Strome, who came over with him.
Strome, who was acquired from the Coyotes on Sunday night, will make his Blackhawks debut vs. the Golden Knights. Strome had just six points (3G / 3A) in 20 games before being traded. He will start on the fourth line and second power-play unit tonight.
Rowney has been out since October 13th but is expected to draw back onto the Ducks fourth line on Tuesday. Rowney has just one goal in five games this season.
DeSmith stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Penguins win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. DeSmith has won two in a row and is now the Penguins unquestioned No.1 while Matt Murray is sidelined. DeSmith is 1-3-1 with a 2.36 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout on the road this season.
Raanta allowed six goals on 26 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Flames on Sunday. The Coyotes didn’t really show up for Sunday’s game and it led to a second-straight poor outing for Raanta. He has allowed a combined 11 goals on the last 65 shots (.831 SV%) that he has faced and things won’t get any easier tonight in Minnesota. Raanta is 2-2-0 with a 2.47 GAA and .913 SV% on the road this year.
Fleury stopped all 33 shots that he faced in the Golden Knights shutout win over the Sharks on Saturday. Fleury has now won four in a row and has posted back-to-back shutouts over the Flames and Sharks—the seventh and 13th ranked offenses in the NHL. Things have been much more difficult for on the road for Fleury, who is 5-5-0 with a 2.90 GAA, .887 SV% and one shutout in 10 away games.
Alzner was the casualty of Shea Weber’s return to the Canadiens lineup and was placed on waivers on Monday. With a massive contract, it’s no surprise that Alzner cleared waivers. It will take a number of injuries to the Canadiens blueline for Alzner to make his way back to the NHL.
Jokiharju missed the morning skate and is officially listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday’s contest. Jokiharku is still looking for his first goal but has added 10 assists and 50 shots through his first 23 games.
McKenna allowed one goal on 10 shots after replacing Craig Anderson in the Senators loss to the Panthers on November 19th. Since coming up from the AHL, McKenna has allowed 12 goals on 87 shots (.862 SV%). McKenna has struggled at the NHL level throughout his career, so make sure he stays on the waiver wire and not on your roster.
Sheary was on the ice for Monday’s practice, but did not come out for today’s morning skate and will be scratched vs. the Sharks. Sheary is expected to be replaced by Tage Thompson on the Sabres second line.
Rinne allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Predators victory over the Ducks on Sunday. Rinne has now won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.01 GAA and .929 SV%. In his first start against Colorado, Rinne stopped 24 of 25 shots in a 4-1 win on November 7th.
Boeser has missed the last 11 games with a groin injury but is “very likely” to play on Tuesday. Boeser, who had 11 points (4G / 7A) in 13 games before getting hurt, will skate on a line with Elias Pettersson and Nikolay Goldobin in his return.
Jones allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Sharks loss to Edmonton last Tuesday. With Aaron Dell playing well, Jones’ playing time has been limited as of late. Jones is 4-2-1 with an ugly 3.46 GAA and .876 SV% in seven November starts, making him a risky option against a Sabres team that is riding a nine-game winning streak—averaging 3.44 goals for per game during that time.
Crawford allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Tampa Bay last Friday. Two weeks ago, Crawford had an outstanding stretch but crashed to reality last week. The veteran lost two games in a row while allowing a combined eight goals on 56 shots (.857 SV%). Crawford has been much better at the United Center, going 4-2-1 with a 1.57 GAA, .947 SV% and one shutout.
