Reimer allowed two goals on 28 shots after replacing an injured Roberto Luongo in the Panthers loss in Carolina last night. Reimer is 2-2-0 with a 3.09 GAA and .915 SV% in November and 1-3-0 with a 3.07 GAA and .909 SV% at the BB&T Center this season.
Luongo was forced to leave Friday’s game in Carolina with a lower-body injury, that is not believed to be related to the knee injury that he suffered earlier in the season. With Luongo banged up, look for James Reimer to start on Saturday.
Price allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Canadiens loss in New Jersey on Wednesday. Price was given last night off, so he’ll start Saturday vs. the Bruins. In his first start against Boston, Price stopped all 33 shots that he faced in a 3-0 shutout win on October 27th.
Andersen allowed three goals on 43 shots in the Maple Leafs loss in Carolina on Wednesday. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Andersen, who will make his 19th start tonight in Columbus. Andersen already had a 37-save win over the Blue Jackets this week.
Luongo allowed six goals on 28 shots in the Panthers loss in Tampa Bay on Wednesday. It was a tough outing for Luongo, who has now lost three straight while allowing a combined 16 goals on 88 shots (.818 SV%). Things don’t get any easier tonight in Carolina—the Hurricanes lead the NHL in shots per game (40.5) though 21 games.
