Gagner will make his season debut on Monday.

Gagner has picked up seven goals and eight assists while on a loan with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and will make his season debut after being called up on Sunday. Gagner had 31 points (10G / 21A) in 74 games last year, so he has some offensive ability left in the tank.

Sam Gagner
Markstrom will start Monday vs. the Jets.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Canucks loss to the Canadiens on Saturday. Markstrom’s losing streak has hit four games, allowing a combined 13 goals on 129 shots (.899 SV%). He has a terrible matchup with the Jets in town, but is 5-2-0 in seven starts at Rogers Arena.

Jacob Markstrom
Andersen will start Monday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Andersen allowed three goals on 45 shots in the Maple Leafs win in San Jose last Thursday. Garret Sparks gave him the night off on Friday, so Andersen will be back in the crease tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Andersen has won five in a row while stopping 169 of 175 shots (.966 SV%) with one shutout.

Frederik Andersen
Rask wil start Wednesday in Detroit.

Rask allowed just one goal on 37 shots in his return to the crease in Dallas last Friday. It was a great outing for Rask, who has now stopped 129 of the last 137 shots (.942 SV%) that he has faced (dating back to October 23rd in Ottawa). Tonight he faces a suddenly surging Red Wings team, who he stopped 32 of 34 shots against in an 8-2 win in mid-October.

Tuukka Rask
Petersen will make his third straight start on Monday.

Petersen allowed four goals on 42 shots in the Kings loss in Nashville on Saturday. Petersen has been excellent in his first two NHL starts, turning aside 72 of the 77 shots (.935 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he will be making his third start in four nights against a Blues team that is averaging 3.11 goals for per game (13th in the NHL).

Cal Petersen
Cullen is expected to be out “longer-term” with a lower-body injury.

Cullen was not on the ice for Monday’s morning skate and head coach Mike Sullivan announced that he will be out long-term. With Cullen out, Riley Sheahan will draw back into the lineup on Monday.

Matt Cullen
Bobrovsky will start Monday in Toronto.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Carolina on Saturday. Bobrovsky showed no ill effects after missing Thursday’s game, winning for the fourth consecutive time—stopping 116 of 120 shots (.967 SV%) in the process. Bob is playing much better, but has a terrible matchup tonight in Toronto.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Reimer will start Monday in Ottawa.

Reimer allowed one goal on 35 shots in the Panthers 5-1 win over the Senators last Sunday. Roberto Luongo has started the last three games, but Reimer will face the Senators again tonight. Ottawa comes in having won three of their last four games, but Reimer remains a solid spot-start or daily option.

James Reimer
Hutton will start Monday in Pittsburgh.

Hutton allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Sabres win in Winnipeg last Friday. Hutton is heating up, winning four in a row while posting a 1.56 GAA and .942 SV%. Tonight he faces a Penguins team that has lost seven of their last eight. Hutton is 3-4-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .915 SV% on the road.

Carter Hutton
DeSmith will start Monday vs. the Sabres.

DeSmith allowed three goals on 15 shots after replacing Matt Murray in the Penguins loss in Ottawa on Saturday. Despite posting a strong 2.27 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout, DeSmith is 1-3-0 in three starts and three relief appearances in November. Tonight he gets a Sabres team that is on a five-game winning streak.
