Raanta will not be available to backup on Tuesday, so Adin Hill was called up from Tucson (AHL) under emergency conditions and will backup Darcy Kuemper in San Jose.

With Antti Raanta sick, Hill will come up and serve as Darcy Kuemper’s backup in San Jose.

Hogberg stopped 13 of 14 shots after coming in in relief in the Senators' loss in Vancouver back on December 3rd. With Anders Nilsson going last night, Hogberg will make his second NHL start of the season tonight but draws a horrible matchup in Tampa Bay. The Lightning average 3.69 goals per game on home ice, so leave Hogberg on the bench tonight.

Haggerty was an undrafted free agent that signed with the Penguins in 2018. The 26-year-old forward has just three goals and three assists (six points) in 23 AHL games this season.

Roy was originally a fourth-round pick of the Ducks but signed with the Panthers this July. The 26-year-old left-winger has 28 games of NHL experience and has scored four goals with 10 assists (14 points) in 23 AHL games this season.

Zucker briefly left Sunday's game in Chicago but returned and finished with one assist in 16:33 TOI. The injury comes at a tough time for the Wild, who were already without Mikko Koivu and Joel Eriksson Ek up front and Jared Spurgeon on the blueline. Luke Johnson is expected to make his Wild debut with Zucker out.

Hall was acquired from the Devils on Monday and joined the team in San Jose this morning and will make his debut against the Sharks. The Coyotes did not run lines this morning, so there is no indication who Hall will skate with.

Stalock stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Wild's win over the Flyers on Saturday. It was a quiet night for the 32-year-old netminder, who will start tonight even though Devan Dubnyk (personal) is back in the fold. He has gone 4-4-2 with a 3.58 GAA, .889 SV% and one shutout on the road, this season so he's a risky option in tough venue.

Fleury allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Golden Knights' win over the Canucks on Sunday. Since returning to the Golden Knights, Fleury has won two of his three starts while allowing a combined eight goals on 87 shots (.908 SV%). Fleury has gone 8-5-2 with a 2.88 GAA, .907 SV% and one shutout on home-ice this season.

Jarry gave up four goals on 42 shots in the Penguins' win over the Kings on Saturday. It wasn't a shutout, which is rare for Jarry lately but it was his fourth win in five games. The 24-year-old hasn't been great on the road in limited work, going 1-3-0 with a 3.12 GAA and .908 SV% in four games.

Konecny missed the last three games with a concussion that he suffered on December 7th vs. the Senators. He was back on the is for Monday's morning skate and will play on the top line with Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier. Konecny has three goals and one assist in his last four games.

Laughton is not expected to be back until after the Christmas break, so the Flyers have moved him to IR to open up a roster spot. Laughton could travel on the Flyers' west coast road trip following the break.

Bennett missed the last 13 games with a lower-body injury but will play tonight vs. the Penguins. Bennett, who has just three goals and two assists (five points) in 20 games this season, will skate on the fourth-line with Tobias Rieder and Michael Frolik.

Merzlikins was pulled after allowing two goals on eight shots in the Blue Jackets' loss in Ottawa on Saturday afternoon. Merzlikins is still searching for his first NHL win after starting his career 0-4-3 with a 3.41 GAA and .889 SV%. He has not played well but a matchup vs. the Red Wings is a great opportunity to mark one in the win column.

Mrazek allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Hurricanes loss in Vancouver last Thursday. James Reimer started Saturday in Calgary but look for Mrazek to face the Jets on Tuesday. He has won 3-3-2 with a 2.94 GAA, .900 SV% and one shutout on the road this season, so this isn't the best matchup for the 27-year-old.

Talbot stopped 46 of the 48 shots that he faced in the Flames win in Arizona last Tuesday. Talbot has been impressive in his last two starts, going 2-0 while stopping 76 of the 81 shots (.938 SV%). He draws a tough matchup with the Penguins in town. Pittsburgh has gone 5-1-0 in their last six, will get Evgeny Malkin back tonight and will limit Talbot's goal-support.

Luoto has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Mathieu Perreault (concussion) in the lineup on Tuesday. Luoto has no points and just six shots in 14 games this season.
