Bishop did not dress on Tuesday due to a minor lower-body injury but is expected to at least back up on Thursday. Jake Oettinger was sent back to the AHL on Wednesday, clearing the way for Bishop to suit up in Nashville. It’s unclear whether he or Anton Khudobin will get the nod.

van Riemsdyk left Wednesday’s game after blocking a Jonas Siegenthaler shot and did not return. van Riemsdyk immediately underwent X-rays and it was determined that he suffered a broken right hand and will be sidelined for some time. Head coach Alain Vigneault did not know the severity of it post-game but expect him to be re-evaluated and for the Flyers to release a detailed timeline prior to Thursday’s game vs. the Hurricanes. Joel Farabee was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and will replace van Riemsdyk in the lineup on Thursday.

Farabee has scored three goals with one assist in five AHL games since being sent down on February 24th. With James van Riemsdyk suffering a broken hand last night, Farabee is expected to jump right back into the Flyers lineup on Thursday. Burakovsky did not come out for Colorado's morning skate and will not play tonight vs. the Ducks. It was a terrific outing for Talbot, who will start for the second straight game tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. He is 5-6-1 with a 3.17 GAA and .900 SV% on home ice this season and Columbus has gone 0-2-3 while scoring 2.80 goals per game in their last five road games.

This will be the first time that Kempny is a healthy scratch in 2020 and he will be replaced by Radko Gudas, who was a healthy scratch on Sunday. Kempny has just one assist while playing 18:50 ATOI in his last 20 games.
