Carpenter missed Wednesday’s game with the flu, but will draw back in for Tomas Hyka on Friday. Carpenter has picked up just one assist and 10 shots on goal in eight games so far this season.
Lindberg will play for the first time since October 10th, replacing Tomas Nosek in the Golden Knights lineup. The 26-year-old has just 11 points (9G / 2A) in 67 career games in a Vegas uniform.
Fleury allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Golden Knights loss to Vancouver on Wednesday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Fleury, who will face a Lightning team that has won five of their last six games while averaging 4.33 goals per game.

Smith has had a dreadful start to the season, posting a 4.10 GAA and .866 SV% in his first seven starts. The Flames will stick with the veteran netminder this afternoon, but he’s a risky start against the reigning Stanley Cup Champions.
Harpur will miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury. Cody Ceci will draw into the lineup for the suspended Mark Borowiecki with Harpur out.
McCormick has been out since the Senators season opener but will play tonight in Colorado. McCormick has just nine points (5G / 4A) in 58 career games with the Senators.
Ceci has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but will replace Ben Harpur in Colorado. Ceci had no points, a minus-4 rating and six shots on goal in his first four games of the season.
Hudon has not played during the last three games but will return to the lineup in Boston. There’s no word on who Hudon will replace, but he returns with two goals and one assist in six games this season.
Johansson missed Friday’s practice with an illness, but head coach John Hynes is hopeful that he will be available to play vs. the Panthers. If Johansson can’t play, the Devils will need to recall a forward.
Bourque has bounced around Colorado’s bottom-6 through the first 10 games of the season but will be a healthy scratch tonight vs. the Senators. Vladislav Kamenev will replace him on the fourth line.

Rinne left last Friday’s game in Calgary after a collision with Kevin Fiala and has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury. There has not been a lot of news surrounding the severity of Rinne’s injury, but the fact that he was back on the ice this afternoon suggests that Rinne should be back soon. Monitor his status heading into Saturday’s game vs. the Oilers.
Neuvirth has missed the first nine games of the season but served as Brian Elliott’s backup on Thursday. Neuvirth allowed three goals on 31 shots in a win with Lehigh Valley (AHL) during his conditioning stint. Neuvirth will make his season debut on home-ice, where he was 4-4-3 with a 2.60 GAA and .914 SV% last season.
Rempal failed to record a point in three games with the Kings, so he returns to Ontario, where he leads the team in points with eight (4G / 4A) in four games. His return to the AHL opens the door for Dustin Brown to be activated from IR for Sunday’s game.
Krug has missed the first 10 games of the regular season but could make his season debut on Saturday. Krug’s return would be a huge boost for the Bruins, who’s blueline is missing Charlie McAvoy, Kevan Miller and Urho Vaakanainen. Krug is coming off of the best season of his career, picking up 14 goals and 45 assists (59 points) in 76 games.
Lehner made 38 saves on 41 shots in the Islanders overtime loss to the Panthers on Wednesday. Since posting a shutout in his first start, Lehner has gone 1-2-1 with a 3.36 GAA and .907 SV% in his last four outings. This afternoon he faces the Flyers who come in at 4-6-0 and averaging 3.00 goals for per game (t-19th).
