Rinne will start against the Sharks on Thursday.
Rinne stopped 36 of 38 shots in the Predators’ 5-2 win over the Senators on Monday. He’s won three of his last four starts, posting a .926 SV% over that span. Tonight he’ll go for his 300th career win in a tough home matchup against the Sharks.
Goalie Start
Holtby will start against the Panthers on Thursday.
Holtby turned in another disappointing effort on Tuesday, allowing four goals on just 19 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Lightning. He is currently enduring one of the worst stretches of his season, going winless in his last four starts with 19 goals against and an .848 SV%. He’ll look to get back on track tonight in a decent matchup against the Panthers.
Goalie Start
Anderson will start against the Lightning on Thursday.
Anderson stopped 36 of 41 shots in the Senators’ 5-2 loss to the Rangers on Monday. He’ll return to the crease tonight after conceding last night’s start to backup Mike Condon. He draws potentially the worst matchup on the slate tonight with his team, on the tail-end of a back-to-back, playing host to the Lightning.
Ryan (hand) will return to the lineup Thursday against the Lightning.
Goalie Start
Niemi will start against the Rangers on Thursday.
Niemi was lit up for three goals on six shots in a 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights on Saturday. He now sports an unappealing 4.18 GAA and .880 SV% on the season. Despite his poor play, Niemi could be in line for an increased workload in the interim, as the Habs announced today Carey Price is out indefinitely with a concussion. He draws a pretty good matchup at home tonight against the Rangers.
Line Change
Grabner will not play against the Canadiens on Thursday.
The Rangers are reportedly close to moving Grabner so they will sit him tonight as a precautionary measure.

Nash will not play against the Canadiens on Thursday.
The Rangers are reportedly close to moving Nash so they will sit him tonight as a precautionary measure.
Bjork had surgery to repair his injured shoulder and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Gagner (ankle) has been cleared to play and is expected to return to the lineup Friday against the Golden Knights.
Panarin is questionable for Thursday's game against the Flyers.
The Bruins have traded Vatrano to the Panthers in exchange for a 2018 third-round draft pick.

Gillies will start against the Coyotes on Thursday.
Gillies is set to make just his second career start and first of the season for the Flames. In two appearances so far for the Flames this season, he has allowed five goals on just 27 shots (.815 SV%). In 31 games with Stockton (AHL) Gillies has a 14-12-2 record and a .915 SV%. He draws a solid matchup tonight against the Coyotes.

The Rangers have recalled Lettieri from Hartford (AHL).

Raanta continued his hot run of play on Saturday, stopping all 40 shots he faced in a 1-0 win over the Oilers. He now boasts a .964 SV% over his last five appearances. Raanta is expected to retain his starting job despite the recent acquisition of Darcy Kuemper. He draws another challenging matchup tonight at home against the Flames.

Quick will start against the Stars on Thursday.
Quick allowed just one goal on 28 shots in the Kings’ 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks on Monday. He’s been on a bit of roll lately, posting a .936 SV% over his last six appearances. He draws a tough matchup at home tonight against the Stars.
Caggiula (illness) will not play against the Avalanche on Thursday.
Maroon (undisclosed) will not play against the Avalanche on Thursday.

Talbot will start against the Avalanche on Thursday.
Talbot stopped 42 of the 45 shots he faced in a losing effort against the Bruins on Tuesday. His play has been better of late with a .942 SV% over his last three starts to show for it. Tonight he will make his 26th start in 28 games for the Oilers, in what will be a tough matchup against the Avalanche.
